Selective Laser Melting(SLM)molding technology is a manufacturing technology based on discrete stacking to achieve high performance and compact metal parts.SLM is widely concerned by academia because it can directly and rapidly manufacture terminal metal products.In recent years,material properties,process parameters and processing equipment have become research hotspots.Based on the preliminary process and structure design of SLM forming equipment,the control system of laser selective melting forming equipment for metal was designed and studied in this paper.The working principle and process of metal SLM molding equipment were analyzed.The main structure of the equipment and the controlled object were defined.On this basis,the metal SLM molding equipment control system based on MCP control platform was designed.The interface between the main actuators and sensors of the MCP platform,optical path system,paving powder system,inert gas protection system and temperature control system was designed in detail.The internal architecture of the MCP platform was analyzed,and the objects,components,services,and user channels in the platform were specifically configured according to the specific conditions of the device.Based on the MCP Interface,the human-computer interaction interface of the metal SLM molding equipment was designed and developed with XML Notepad software.According to the system process and human-computer interaction requirements,the API function was called,and the Lua scripts of each part were written.The installation wiring and electrification test of all components of the equipment control system were carried out.On this basis,the Lua script program and man-machine interface program were debugged.Taking the structural part model as an example,the whole process from three-dimensional modeling to galvanometer scanning was verified.The preliminary operation of metal SLM forming equipment was realized.Compared with the traditional industrial computer plus board or PLC control scheme,the control system with MCP platform as the core greatly simplifies the hardware structure and enhances the stability of the system.System control software and human-machine interface are easily developed with the help of API-specific functions provided by the platform,therefore,it is easy to be quickly introduced to the market and applied to industrialization.
