EAF steelmaking has a history of nearly 100 years,especially rapid development in recent decades.Arc furnace plays an important role in modern steelmaking enterprises.It heats the furnace charge by generating arc heat between the electrode and the charge.Therefore,the performance of electrode regulator is very important for the whole arc furnace metallurgy process.It directly affects the consumption of electric energy,the loss of electrode,the loss of mechanical equipment,the quality of power grid and the quality of products.Three-phase ac arc furnace system is a complex multivariable system,with high coupling degree,parameter time-varying,random interference and other characteristics,making it difficult to keep the system in the best operating state.On the basis of establishing the mathematical model of three-phase arc furnace and the output model of power supply system,combined with the requirements of the steel-making process of ac arc furnace for the electrode controller,this paper studies the overall control scheme of the electrode regulating system.Based on the engineering application of electric arc furnace electrode regulating system control method as the research background,aiming at the features of the electric arc furnace smelting process,starting from the physical mechanism of ac arc,deduced the ac arc resistance model,based on the effective value of electric arc furnace electric system equations,and then get the arc length and arc voltage and arc length and arc flow the RMS values of the relationship.In addition to the arc model,according to the actual working environment of the arc furnace,the power supply system model of the arc furnace and the hydraulic system model of the transmission mechanism are also discussed.For electric furnace systems represent a class of nonlinear and parameters system,this paper adopts the single neuron model reference adaptive control for controller design,not only to solve the problem of PID control in tracking the result is bad,and solved the more neurons in the model reference adaptive speed slow,the disadvantages of engineering is not easy to achieve.The simulation results show that this control method has good anti-interference ability and quick response ability.In addition,the design process of the method is simple,easy to implement digitally,and has high applicability and engineering value.Paper intelligent electric arc furnace semi-physical simulation platform as the background,will be set up by the electric arc furnace electrode adjustment model and the control method used in the simulation platform,using the Siemens WinCC and the Step7 software on simulation platform structures,the whole of the electrode adjustment system model,the use of OPC technology to realize the data interconnection of Matlab to complete the entire model structures,and to design the controller,finally through experiments to explore the control effect of the model.The function realization of simulation platform can let us study other characteristics and control methods of arc furnace better.
