COREX has been the industrialized smelting reduction ironmaking process in recent years which cancels the part of coking and sintering.COREX has the advantages of short route,less operation and lower pollution comparing with the blast furnace.COREX-3000 Being moved to Bayi Steel in Xinjiang,its condition of raw materials and charging scheme changes.Handling the rules of burden distribution in different conditions is the only way to charge the production efficiently on site,which provides the conduct to operation of COREX in new environment.The COREX Melter Gasifier is studied in this paper,the gimbal distributor and DRI flap distributor are considered at the same time.The main achievements are obtained as follows:(1)According to the Newton's second law,the coal falling model in vertical tube,the coal movement model in rotate chute,the coal flow trajectory model in empty area are developed in this paper,and the effect of chute angle,charge mode,burden level on the coal flow trajectory,falling position,burden level and so on are predicted with this model.(2)According to the Newton's second law,the DRI falling model in vertical tube,the DRI movement model in inclined tube,the DRI flap collision model,the DRI flow trajectory model in empty area are developed in this paper,and the effect of DRI flap angle,charge mode,burden level on the material flow trajectory,falling position,burden level and so on are predicted with this model.(3)The burden level prediction model on the mix charge is established for initial horizontal surface.Through this model,the variations of burden level under mix charge are obtained.
