The Research And Application Of The Escher’s Mathematical Model In The Fashion Design

If the western art of the 20 th century is an era of contending by a hundred schools of thought,then Maurice Cornelis Esher,a famous Dutch edition painter,is a unique school,which embodies the fusion of science and art everywhere in his works,and "eternity" and "infinity" are the two major themes expressed in Esher’s works.He shows the impossible things in life from a unique and strange perspective,and expresses art from a scientific point of view.From the artist’s point of view,he is so out of place and a strange category in the art circle,but it is widely recognized in the scientific community.Whether geometry,physics or crystallization,it is deeply reflected in his works.Through investigation and analysis of Esher’s rational works,this paper analyzes the mathematical ideas and philosophical ideas contained in it from four stages: plane fit,deformation,limit and contradictory space science,obtains the geometric combination rules of suitable graphics and the curve perspective law of contradictory space,grasps Esher’s unique creative thinking,and expounds the interactive relationship between science and art with concrete design cases.The application of mathematical thinking mode in design is further demonstrated,so that this mathematical thinking mode can be better applied to later garment design.
