Chlorinated butyl rubber(CIIR)has high air tightness and excellent blending properties. It is widely used in medical equipment, sealing devices and automobile tires, but its small molecular hindered phenol in damping properties. The compound is often used as an additive for improving the damping performance in a chlorobutyl rubber system, and has a good application effect. In order to alleviate the instability of organic small molecule compounds in the rubber system, the performance of the rubber system can be improved and improved by using a resin polymer containing a hindered phenol functional group or a hindered phenol modified powder. When using modified powder filler as the damping additive,it is necessary to consider the influence of filler s with different morphologies on the damping performance. Therefore, compare the application effects of several different morphological hindered phenol modified fillers, and find a better solution.Better ways and means to improve rubber damping performance easily and efficiently. The modified powder polysiloxane, modified diatomite and modified montmorillonite were prepared by using 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol and silane coupling agent KH570 as functional group modification materials.Different powder damping agents. The prepared damper is applied to the chlorobutyl rubber system.A series of characterizations such as infrared spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and dynamic thermodynamic analysis were used to compare the effects of damper powder on the mechanical properties, thermal properties and damping properties of rubber substrates. The main research contents of this topic are as follows:(1)Preparation of a silicone damper and its use in chlorobutyl ru bber.Powdered polysiloxane is a kind of spheroidal silicon-containing material.Under the infrared test,3500-3600cm-1 has obvious characteristic peaks of hydroxyl structure, and the peak intensity decreases after modification. After the modification, the powder structure has no change in the pore structure, but the specific surface area decreases to a certain extent, the thermal stability is also affected, and the hydrophilicity of the whole material increases.Applied to the CIIR rubber system, the breaking strength of the CIIR rubber with 10 parts of modified polysiloxane was 4.11 MPa,which was 96.6%higher than the blank of 2.09 MPa,and the maximum damping factor was increased from 0.92 to 1.32,an increase of 43.4%.The effective damping temperature range increased from 40.0°C to 63.3°C,an increase of 58.2%.(2)Preparation of modified diatomaceous earth damper and its application in CIIR.Compared to spheroidal polysiloxanes, diatomaceous earth is a disc-like structural material with a larger specific surface area, similarly, there are a large number of hydroxyl structures on both surfaces that can be used for modification, after hindered phenol modification. The specific surface area has a large decrease, but it is still higher than the polysiloxane. After adding 20 parts of modified diatomite to CIIR rubber system, the breaking strength of CIIR rubber increased from 2.09MPa to 4.12MPa,increased by 97.1%,and the decomposition temperature increased by 9.7°C.The maximum damping factor was added when adding 10 parts of modified diatomite.0.92increased to 1.32,an increase of 43%,and the effective damping temperature range increased from 40.0°C to 63.8°C,an increase of 59.5%.(3)Preparation of modified montmorillonite damper and its applicat ion in chlorobutyl rubber. On the basis of polysiloxane and diatomaceous earth, montmorillonite with lamellar structure is selected to further realize the design of constrained damping structure. The hindered phenol modified montmorillonite damper was obtained by the same modification method, which produced different effects in the CIIR rubber system. After adding 30 parts of modified montmorillonite damping agent, the breaking strength of the composite increased from 2.09 MPa to 2.58 MPa,an increase of 22.9%.Under 30 modified montmorillonite fillers, the maximum damping factor is 1.23,which is 33.7%higher than the blank 0.92,and the damping temperature range is increased from 40.0°C to 48.95°C,which has a certain degree of improvement.
