China is a big country of coal production and consumption,and a lot of manpower and material resources are invested in coal preparation industry every year.With the continuous implementation of sustainable development strategy and green resource policy,how to complete the selection of front row gangue in a fast and energy-saving way has become the current research content.In order to solve this problem,this paper puts forward the recognition of minerals in Coal Gangue Based on X-ray and its image characteristics,and carries out experimental research on four single minerals and several different composite minerals according to the recognition technology in the separation process of the system.Based on the photoelectric separation test platform of coal gangue,this paper analyzes the main minerals in coal gangue,and studies four single minerals(Graphite,Quartz,Kaolin and Montmorillonite)and two(Graphite and Quartz,Graphite and Kaolin,Graphite and Montmorillonite),three(Graphite,Quartz and Kaolin,Graphite,Quartz and Montmorillonite,Graphite,Kaolin)through experiments The imaging characteristics and recognition process of four kinds of composite minerals(Graphite,Quartz,Kaolin and Montmorillonite)were studied.The main achievements are as follows:(1)Based on the evaluation of important literature,the thickness and density of several single minerals and composite minerals to be studied are designed,and the images of the samples in low energy and high energy regions after being penetrated by X-ray are obtained.The image in the low energy region is bright,and the image in the high energy region is dark.The samples with wide thickness and high density have strong absorption of X-ray,and the attenuation degree of X-ray is larger,and the image presented is relatively dark and black.On the contrary,the absorption of X-ray is weak,and the attenuation degree of X-ray is small,and the obtained image is bright and white.(2)The X-ray images of different minerals are processed by MATLAB software,and the gray values of single minerals and composite minerals are obtained.The curve between gray value and thickness and density is in accordance with the exponential empirical formula.The exponential attenuation relationship model between gray value and different density and thickness is established by regression analysis,showing negative exponential correlation,and the mass absorption of minerals in different energy regions is obtained The relationship between mass absorption coefficient and mineral composition is explained by the theory of equivalent atomic number.The difference of attenuation effect of single minerals and composite minerals on X-ray is mainly the difference of equivalent atomic number and mineral composition of different minerals.(3)The shortcomings of gray value method in mineral recognition are analyzed,and the thickness effect is difficult to eliminate.The principle of mineral identification by R-value method is expounded.The R values of four single minerals and several composite minerals are obtained respectively.Based on the R value of single minerals,the influence of different minerals on the R value of composite minerals is analyzed,and the influence of different minerals on coal and gangue is inferred,which provides an important theoretical support for further identification of coal and gangue.Figure[29]table[16]reference[82]...
