In recent years,the trend of comprehensive utilization of national resources is obvious,steel slag belongs to industrial waste,so the recycling of steel slag conforms to the national development trend and can produce huge economic benefits.In addition,the problem of waste of land resources space caused by the accumulation of steel slag is serious,and the use of steel slag in road construction is an effective solution.This article has conducted in-depth research on steel slag in Fangchenggang City,Guangxi.The main content of the research can be divided into three parts which are the physical and chemical characteristics of steel slag,the.study on road performance of cement stabilized macadam mixture with steel slag and the study on the precipitation effect of heavy metals in cement stabilized macadam mixture with steel slag.In the study of the physical and chemical characteristics of steel slag,the research content includes the comparison of the physical properties of steel slag and macadam,and the detection of the chemical composition of steel slag.Studies have shown that the physical properties of steel slag and macadam have a certain difference.The steel slag has the physical characteristics of high density,many surface pores,small crushing value,small polishing value and small needle sheet content.The high content of f-CaO in the chemical composition of steel slag leads to the poor stability of steel slag,and the problem of volume expansion of steel slag can be effectively solved by acetic acid immersion and incorporation of micro silicon powder.In the study of the composition of cement stabilized macadam mixture with steel slag,the research content includes the material composition design scheme and road performance test research.The research results show that the open-aged steel slag is rich in particle size,and the content of the steel slag with the particle size of 4.75mm to 19mm is the highest.The steel slag can improve the bearing capacity,compressive strength and compressive rebound modulus of the base layer,and reduce the shrinkage factor.In the study of heavy metal precipitation effect of cement stabilized macadam mixture with steel slag,the research content includes the detection of steel slag heavy metal content and analysis of the influencing factors of steel slag heavy metal leaching.The results show that the order of heavy metal content in steel slag is Mn>Cr>V>Zn>Ni>Cu;the three factors which are steel slag particle size,cement coating,and seawater concentration have a greater influence on the leaching of heavy metal elements in steel slag.
