Research On The Application Of Qingshen Bamboo Weaving In Modern Lamp Design

Qingshen County is located in Meishan City in the southwest of Sichuan Province,and has abundant resources of Cizhu.Ci bamboo is not only a commonly used raw material in the weaving industry,but also one of the best materials.As an intangible cultural heritage,Qingshen bamboo weaving not only has a long history,superior geographical conditions,superb weaving skills of the inheritors,and the current consumer market is relatively mature.However,during the process of visiting Qingshen bamboo weaving artists,the author found that the living conditions of the artists were not ideal,the market acceptance of bamboo weaving products was not high,and the traditional bamboo weaving model could not be integrated into the modern home environment,which did not meet the aesthetic needs of modern people.Therefore,we tried to combine the traditional Qingshen bamboo weaving with modern fashionable lighting products to design a series of bamboo weaving lighting products that not only meet the characteristics of modern simplicity and fashion,but also retain the traditional craftsmanship.The research of this subject is to collect,organize and summarize the craftsmanship and development of Qingshen bamboo weaving based on a large number of documents and field investigations in the early stage.First,in the process of document collection,I read a lot of books and materials related to bamboo weaving craftsmanship,and sorted out related materials,so as to have a full understanding of the historical itinerary and development of Qingshen bamboo weaving.Second,during the fieldwork,I went to Qingshen County to focus on learning three types of local bamboo weaving,including weaving patterns,weaving techniques and weaving processes.Interview and follow local non-genetic inheritors and learn bamboo weaving skills from them.In this process,pictures of bamboo woven products and their production process were taken as research materials.Third,it is hoped that through the combing of Qingshen bamboo weaving skills and market research data,design analysis and conception can be converted into lighting products acceptable to the modern public on the basis of trying our best to protect the traditional crafts of Qingshen bamboo weaving.It is hoped that Qingshen bamboo knitting can be market-oriented and accepted by more people.Take bamboo as a carrier,analyze its characteristics,the shape of bamboo lamps and lanterns,and conduct in-depth research.The design plan of the bamboo woven lighting products adopts the design concept of using bamboo woven as the main material and combining with a variety of modern lighting materials.According to the characteristics of the twenty-four solar terms in Chinese traditional culture,a series of lighting products named after solar terms are designed and applied to different scenes in home life.
