In strip steel production,steel coils are usually transported by walking beams or transport chains.The walking beams and transport chains will cause positional errors during the transportation process,causing the steel coils to deviate from their theoretical positions.Steel coil labeling,steel coil bundling and other processes need to determine the exact position of the steel coil.At the same time,excessive position deviation will also cause safety problems.It can be seen that the detection of the center position of the steel coil is very important in the production of steel coils.At present,many researches have been done on the detection technology of the center position of steel coils at home and abroad,and a variety of detection methods have been developed.Therefore,the research on steel coil center detection technology has important practical significance.Linear distance detection technology is one of the core technologies for steel coil center position detection.The advantages and disadvantages of a variety of existing linear distance detection technologies are analyzed.Considering the impact of the harsh environment on the strip production site,a magnetic grid displacement sensor Trigger detection technology is a data acquisition method for steel coil center position detection technology.This method has the characteristics of good applicability,high measurement accuracy,and fast measurement speed.Using Solidworks software,a detection device for the center position of the coil is designed based on the three-point method,and the detection algorithm for the center position and coil diameter of the coil is deduced.The finite element simulation of the motion process of the contact assembly was carried out using ANSYS Workbench software,the impact of impact deformation on the detection results was studied,and the structure of the trigger type ranging mechanism was improved,and the buffer contact was designed,combined with high sensitivity The limit switch triggers data reading,which reduces the impact of impact deformation on the test results from the mechanical point of view.Since the actual cross-sectional shape of the outer surface of the steel coil after coiling is not a standard circle,but an Archimedes spiral,this problem will affect the detection accuracy.The problem was studied by MATLAB software,and the related error data was obtained.The above-mentioned data was fitted by BP neural network,and the mathematical model of error compensation was obtained.The influence of the coil end position on the detection result is analyzed,and the detection error caused by the detection point on the outer surface of the strip steel in different layers is studied,and the detection method is improved by using two sets of detection devices to realize the judgment of the contact position and avoid In order to generate this error,the detection accuracy of the coil center position and coil diameter is improved.Based on the above research results,a hot-rolled steel coil center position detection device was designed and manufactured.The design took into account the influence of high temperature,dust and other adverse conditions.The detection accuracy of the device meets the actual requirements of production and the operation is stable.
