| Plasma gasification technology is currently the most promising method for producing syngas from biomass.High-temperature plasma technology has been very mature, but it has problems such as low efficiency and environmental pollution.Low temperature plasma is environmentally friendly and does not produce highly toxic substances such as dioxins during the treatment process and is favored by researchers. My country is rich in biomass reserves. If the gas production characteristics of the components can be studied, and the effective development and utilization of biomass can be of great significance for further understanding of the biomass gasification mechanism. In this paper,in a dielectric barrier discharge low temperature plasma reactor,CO2,N2,and Ar were used as carrier gas to carry out the gasification experiment of poplar and three model compounds cellulose, xylan(hemicellulose model compound)and lignin,The influence of carrier gas and frequency on gas production characteristics and the gasification characteristics of model compounds were investigated. The samples before and after the reaction were characterized by SEM,BET,and FTIR to obtain the change information of the micro morphology, pore structure, and functional groups of the sample before and after gasification. The experimental results showed that plasma was more conducive to synthesis gas.The specific surface area of coke obtained by CO2plasma gasification of poplar increased significantly to 150.71m2/g,and the original structure gradually collapsed with the increase of gasification temperature. The ionization energy of Ar was the highest, and the active material used to gasify poplar was less. Therefore, the gasification rate of poplar was the lowest, only 8.38%,and the ionization energy of CO2was the lowest, and the gasification rate of poplar was 64.11%.The lower the frequency, the greater the power and energy density, and the better it was for gasification.Xylan was easily decomposed and had a high gas production rate.It reached the melting temperature during the gasification process and undergoes a solid-melting-gas state process.Since CO was the quencher of excited state N2*,when Ar was a carrier gas,its power, gas production concentration, and energy density were higher than those of N2.Lignin was the main chemical component that forms coke. The gas production of cellulose was lower than that of xylan and higher than that of lignin.According to solid infrared spectroscopy, the content of most functional groups containing C,H and O gradually decreased with the increase of vaporization temperature. In the process of plasma gasification, xylan and cellulose would undergo depolymerization and ring rupture reactions, and lignin would undergo condensation and other reactions, and the aromaticity would increase. In this paper, the three-component and poplar low temperature plasma gasification experiment were carried out to study the gas production characteristics of biomass, which provide a basis for predicting the results of biomass gasification. |
