With the continuous improvement of the automation level of the power industry and the widespread application of big data technology,the power load management system is playing an increasingly important role in the operation of the factory.How to enhance the reliability of the power system and reduce the cost of factory electricity is a problem that every factory needs to consider.The power load management system can realize multi-faceted load management and power control.It not only can improve the utilization of power generation,supply,and power equipment to maximize the utility of limited power resources,but also it can improve power quality and increase the service life of electrical equipment.Therefore,the basic advantages of modern power systems have been brought into full play.It is of great significance to the long-term development of enterprises.We took Valin Lianyuan Iron and Steel Group as an example.Its actual functional requirements for the load characteristics of Lianyuan Iron and Steel Plant were analysed.We designed and applied Lianyuan Iron and Steel Power Load Management System.Firstly,we proposed the basic structure of the load management system,analyzed the actual demand for load management of the power equipment in the plant,and sorted out the basic functional framework of the Lianyuan Iron and Steel Power Load Management System according to the actual functional requirements,including user management,terminal management,and orderly power consumption management,and etc.We analyzed the system business process to improve system functions.Then,by analyzing the load characteristics of the power grid in the Lianyuan Iron and Steel Plant,the primary wiring mode and load distribution of the Lianyuan Iron and Steel power system were designed to ensure the safe and effective operation of the system.According to the structure and principle of the power load management system,various modules such as database,terminal equipment management,orderly power management and software system were designed.Among them,the SQL Server2014 database was used to ensure the processing speed of the system.The three-tier database structure can improve the efficiency of the system.The system permissions were set to enhance the security of the system,and the C/S software architecture can improve the operating speed of the system.The accident recall and leakage protection modules enhance the reliability and safety of the system.Finally,the designed load management system was applied and optimized in Lianyuan Iron and Steel Plant.In response to the electricity tariff problem linked to economic benefits of Lianyuan Iron and Steel’s power grid,based on the actual measurement of electricity charges,the system’s wiring method and load distribution were improved,which actually reduced Lianyuan’s production costs.According to the theory and a large amount of actual survey data,the power factor that was universal in practical application was compared and improved.Judging from the practical application results of Lianyuan Iron and Steel’s power load management system.It played an important role in both operation management and equipment operation and maintenance,enhancing the stability of the power system and generating a certain degree of economy and social benefits.It has certain reference significance for other industrial power consumption and power load management systems.
