China is a large country of mineral resources.A large number of mineral resources are mined every year.Although it has obtained huge economic benefits,it also causes mining damage and environmental problems.Open pit mining is a conventional mining mode in China, especially in Inner Mongolia. This mining mode has the advantages of low cost and high recovery rate, but the dump be accumulated around the mining area during the mining process. With the increase of mining depth and the accumulation of mining time, the area of waste dump gradually increase. This will lead to the increase of the angle and area of the dump slope, and the slope stability be dangerous and even lead to the occurrence of landslide and other phenomena in the dump, which will seriously affect the production and the safety of people’s life and property in the mining area. Therefore,it is necessary to monitor the slope stability in the mining area.At present, the traditional height measuring and distance measuring instruments are often used to measure the height and distance of the slope. This method will consume a lot of manpower and material resources, and the monitoring data obtained are only point data, which can not accurately reflect the state of the slope. Moreover, this method is not suitable for time series slope stability monitoring.Time series InSAR technology can obtain the deformation information of the ground surface, and can effectively monitor the deformation of the time series. At present, time series InSAR has been used to analyze the stability of waste dump slope, and has achieved certain results. The technology can meet the simultaneous monitoring of large-scale multi dump, and has the advantages of high sampling density and all-weather monitoring. However, when there are sparse vegetation and lack of stable scatterers, the time-series InSAR can not obtain enough density of monitoring points and can not accurately estimate the stability. In order to solve this problem, the following research work is carried out in this paper(1)The principle and processing flow of time series InSAR and DS-InSAR are deeply studied, and the key parameters in the inversion process are continuously considered.Using time series InSAR and DS-InSAR,the deformation results of balongtu open pit mining area are inversed, and the key intermediate results in the processing are evaluated and analyzed, and the quality of the inversion results is preliminarily judged.(2)The results of PS-InSAR,SBAS-InSAR and DS-InSAR are used to analyze the dump slope, mainly through the results of time series deformation rate, cumulative deformation, slope point time series deformation and cumulative deformation. The specific values of each method in A-I 9 slopes are compared, and the differences of different methods in slope monitoring are preliminarily found, and the slope stability is evaluated. Finally,we find that A and B slope have stability problems.(3)Compared with the measured data, the InSAR inversion results are verified, which can meet the requirements of slope deformation monitoring of waste dump.It is also found that rainfall is the main external factor affecting the slope stability of the waste dump in balongtu open pit mining area. There are 42 figures,6tables and 91 references.
