Flexible rope guide is playing its advantages more and more widely in the process of mining.However,how to effectively provide power for the platform has been an important issue in the mine,which is related to the safe operation of the mine.At present,the researches on hoist power generation device on rigid guide are relatively sufficient,some of which have been formally applied in the mine,and achieved good power generation effect,but the research on rope guide power generation device has not been reported.In the same way,the roller material in the cordless cage way power generation device is also studied at home and abroad.If the power generation principle of rigid guide is used for reference,the roller directly rubs with the wire rope in the rope guide to obtain the power,then the tribological performance of the roller as a direct contact element with the wire rope is the key factor of the working state and service life of the roller and wire rope.When the lifting container accelerates and decelerates,the relative sliding between the roller and the wire rope is the root cause of the serious circumferential wear of the roller.Therefore,in this paper,a rope guide power generation device was designed,and the friction temperature rise and wear characteristics of four roller materials(PEEK,PU,UHMWPE and brass)with steel wire rope were studied by selecting the worst working condition,sliding friction in actual working conditions,so as to optimize the selection of roller material.The main contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The friction test pieces made of four kinds of materials were established,and the friction experiments were carried out on the four kinds of materials by sliding friction testing machine.The results showed that the wear of brass was serious,that of PEEK was slight,and that of the other two materials was between the two.As far as the friction coefficient is concerned,the friction of brass was the largest,while the friction coefficient of the other three materials were relatively small.For the friction temperature rise,the numerical simulation results showed that under the same sliding speed,the temperature rise of brass was the smallest,which can reach 36.2?,which was due to the better heat dissipation of brass,and the temperature rise of other three materials were higher.Among them,PEEK could reach 86.4?,PU could reach89.1?,UHMWPE could reach 89.5?.(2)A numerical calculation model of friction temperature rise was established.The model took the middle symmetry plane with the worst heat dissipation as the research object,and established a two-dimensional heat dissipation model,which could carefully investigate the temperature field in the sample and steel wire rope.The results showed that the temperature rise of brass was the worst,while that of the other three materials was at the same level.The friction temperature rise had a developing process,and for the brass material,the time required from the beginning to the stable state was about 1000 seconds,while for the other three,it was about3000s.The heat generated by friction was distributed between the steel wire rope and the test piece by a certain proportion.This distribution ratio changes with time,and at the same time,there are obvious differences in different positions.In the center of the friction surface,the steel wire rope distributes the most friction heat,but at the edge of the friction surface,there is a heat loss of the steel wire rope,that is,the steel wire rope can not get the friction heat,but releases heat when the material of the specimen is PEEK,PU and UHMWPE,but not for brass.This is due to the fact that when the specimen is organic,its heat transfer is slow,and the overall temperature of the wire rope is higher,which will cause the wire rope to dissipate heat to the specimen in the edge area of the friction surface.(3)The wear rate and micro morphology of the four materials were studied.The results showed that the wear rate of brass is relatively large,and its volume wear rate reaches 0.03cm~3/h,and there were obvious wear debris.The color of wear debris was natural color of metal brass at first,and then turned into black,while the volume wear rate of PEEK and UHMWPE was one order of magnitude smaller,being 0.00192cm~3/h and 0.00109 cm~3/h respectively.By observing the micro morphology,we found that there were plough grooves,pits,plastic deformation and other morphologies,and the micro depth of the morphology was observed.It was found that the cutting depth of PEEK was smaller than that of brass and PU.Comprehensive evaluation showed that PEEK is the most suitable material,while the metal material represented by brass has poor performance.
