The application of group technology in the design stage is conducive to improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the product during the entire production process,effectively reducing the repetitive work of the designer,so as to better focus on creative design work.In the design and development of advanced cigarette case forming machines,due to the large workload,the fine division of labor,and the lack of collaboration,a large number of parts with similar functional structures have appeared,resulting in a lot of repetitive work and increasing the cost of manufacturing.In view of this phenomenon in the project,this subject deeply analyzes the components of advanced cigarette box forming machines,uses the principle of group technology to classify,analyze and summarize the parts,selects the typical representative support parts,and classifies,Grouping,optimizing the design of high-frequency parts groups,combined with the idea of Parametric Design of Solidworks,the secondary development of Solidworks for the modeling of support parts.main tasks as follows:First,based on the basic principles of group technology,various types of parts in cigarette case forming machines are analyzed.Based on the shape and function of the parts,the similarities between the parts are studied,and the parts family is sorted out.According to the purpose of the parts,frequency of use and cost,we choose the support parts as the optimal part family for parametric design.Second,according to the shape and function of the parts,classify the parts in the part family,sort out different types of parts from them,and divide the parts with high similarity into the same part group.According to the frequency of use and cost of the parts group,two representative parts groups are selected for analysis.Combined with the overall assembly model,in-depth analysis and comparison of the structural form and size of the parts in the two parts groups,through unification,int egration and reduction,complete the optimization of the structural form and size,and obtain the common size table of the parts group.Then,combined with the idea of parametric design of Solidworks,the secondary development of Solidworks is carried out using Visual Basics programming language to realize the parametric design of two sets of support parts.The system includes the creation of human-computer interaction interface,the construction of Solidworks template files,and the connection of the feature size Access database of support parts.It also has the function of customizing size parameters,which can reach the user input size parameters,and can automatically modify the size and generate The function of the solid model of the part.The software can also convert the support geometry and assembly according to the processing needs.Through the application of group technology,the subject optimizes part design,develops parametric design software,and reuses the model to the maximum extent by calling,which is conducive to the subsequent improvement,optimization and modification of products,and new product design work.However,the subject still has shortcomings such as insufficient scientific classification and single type of parameterized design parts,which can be further improved in the follow-up work.
