| Polyurethane(PU)is widely used because of its excellent properties and low price,but its main disadvantages are the solvent used in the preparation process and nondegradable.Through structural design and process optimization,a glucose and sulfamate double modified degradable waterborne polyurethane(WPU)was prepared using poly(caprolactone diol)(PCL)as raw material,natural polyhydroxy small molecular compound glucose(GLC)as internal crosslinking agent,2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic acid(DMPA)and sodium 2-[(2-aminoethyl)amino]ethanesulfonate(AAS)as hydrophilic monomers.In order to expand the application of WPU,high performance polyurethane hydrogel(HWPU)was prepared by using hydroxyethyl acrylate(HEA)double bond functionalized capped WPU to crosslink acrylamide hydrogels.The main research results were as follows:Preparation of double modified WPU with glucose and sulfamate.The glucose and sulfamate double modified WPU materials were synthesized by using PCL and IPDI as raw materials,dibutyltin dilaurate(DBTDL)as catalyst,GLC as internal crosslinking agent,AAS and DMPA as hydrophilic monomers.The effects of GLC and AAS contents on the comprehensive properties of WPU were investigated.The results showed that GLC can be used as an effective crosslinking agent in the synthesis of WPU.The WPU emulsion had good stability and the modified waterborne polyurethane had good comprehensive properties.Compared with the unmodified WPU,when the GLC content was 2 wt% of the prepolymer and the AAS content was 2.2 wt% of the prepolymer,the tensile strength of the modified WPU4 film reached to 51.55 MPa,which was 14.81 higher than that of the unmodified WPU1.The elongation at break of WPU4 was 932%,which was 12.4% higher than WPU1.In addition,the modified WPU film had good soil degradation and enzyme degradation performance.In the same degradation time,the degradation degree of WPU3 film was increased by more than 2 times than WPU1.Preparation of crosslinked acrylamide HWPU with HEA terminated WPU.The optimized WPU emulsion with mechanical properties was terminated using HEA as endcapping agent.Then the terminated WPU was used as a crosslinking agent for acrylamide(AAm)hydrogels,and a series of HWPU were synthesized by radical polymerization.The influence of WPU content on the properties of HWPU was investigated.The results showed that the tensile and compressive properties of HWPU were greatly improved with the addition of WPU.When the amount of WPU accounted for 10 wt% of AAm,the tensile strength of HWPU3 reached 939.48 k Pa,which was 4.8 times of HWPU1;the Young’s modulus reached 98.7 k Pa,which was 1.5 times of HWPU1;and the compressive strength reached 513.48 k Pa,which was 1.4 times of HWPU1.The p H sensitivity and ionic strength sensitivity experiments showed that HWPU was sensitive to the p H value and ionic concentration of aqueous solution.When the p H value was 13,the swelling ratio of HWPU was above 600%,and the swelling ratio of HWPU increased with the increase of ion concentration. |
