The Application Of Hainan Li Ethnic’s Traditional Clothing Elements In The Design Of Mobile Game Visual Interface

The Li ethnic costume is one of the art forms with the most distinct national features in the Hainan Li culture and it is also an significant part of China ethnic group’s costume culture.Under the influence of modern industrial civilization,the inheritance and development of Li traditional costume have been affected severely and at the risk of disappearing.The weaving technology of Li ethnic has also been listed in the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Urging Protection by UNESCO.Although,a number of protective policies and measures are put in place in this regard,the inheritance and development of Li costumes still face many problems and challenges.With the mobile games’ culture is thriving and increase in social recognition,the mobile games have gradually evolved from one-sided amusement function to undertaking social responsibilities and mainstream culture.In terms of cultural transmission,it has become a new field for soft power competition among nations.The exploration of Chinese nation cultural characteristics and artistic connotation in the game interface design which based on visual sense is of value in scientific research and practice.How to integrate ethnic elements into game design with the help of games,which is a multi-dimensional,immersive and interactive recreational form,to spread China ethnic cultures,is of importance to the building of cultural confidence and enhancement of traditional ethnic culture’s vitality and influence.In this paper,depending on available research,by consulting many articles related to the mobile game visual interface design and Li traditional costumes,going to villages and museums to collect samples and making an contrastive analysis of the outstanding ethnic elements design cases in the domestic and overseas,which make an guideline for the practice design of this topic.Specifically,the research process is as follows:First,through summing up along with analysis,the origin,development,type and aesthetic feature of Li costume elements is obtained.Second,this paper will analyze the feasibility and existing problems of the integration of ethnic elements and mobile games.Then,this paper investigates and analyzes the existing mobile game APPs with Li ethnic clothing elements on the market,and puts forward a series of problems and development directions.In the practice of design,an analysis and summary is made on the outstanding case of the ethnic elements applied on the mobile games around countries.The design method and principle of Li ethnic costume elements on the design of mobile games interface is proposed.Finally,for providing the evidence of rationality and feasibility of the design principle,this paper discusses creative practice of Li costume elements with the visual interface design of "Legend of Gan Gong Bird" as the topic and at the same time provide theory guidance and practical reference for the application of Li costume elements in modern mobile games.
