Polyphenylene sulfide(PPS)melt-blown superfine fiber not only has the high temperature resistance of general PPS fiber(heat distortion temperature exceeds 260℃,long-term use temperature is 220-240℃),corrosion resistance,insulation,flame retardant and other advantages,it also has the functions of superfine fiber,such as high flexibility,moisture permeability,waterproof,heat insulation,sound insulation and special capillary phenomenon.The wet-laid nonwoven paper process can reduce fiber abrasion while achieving uniform fiber dispersion and two-dimensional orientation control.Therefore,using the wet-laid non-woven paper process to combine PPS melt-blown polyphenylene sulfide ultrafine fibers with a variety of unique fiber materials,composite materials with diverse functions and excellent performance can be prepared,and PPS materials will be expanded The scope of application.Two types of unique composite papers were prepared using the above process.The fibrillated cellulose/polyphenylene sulfide/multi-walled carbon nanotube double-layer photothermal composite paper was prepared,and the performance of this material on solar energy absorption and conversion into heat energy was studied,and the efficient purification of wastewater was realized,and it was used for clean energy.And water shortages provide an effective solution.And on the other hand,a high-strength,high-modulus long carbon fiber/polyphenylene sulfide thermoplastic composite board was prepared,and the low LCFs loss of this material and the uniform distribution of the quasi-two-dimensional ordered LCF array were studied,which hindered the growth of interlayer cracks.So as to achieve excellent mechanical properties and controllable electrical conductivity.(1)The wet papermaking process is used to combine PPS ultrafine fibers and fibrillated cellulose(FC)fibers as heat-insulating absorbent paper(PPS/FC),and then multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)as light-absorbing materials through vacuum filtration is deposited MWCNTs on PPS/FC heat-insulating absorbent paper to make a double-layer composite photothermal paper(MWCNTs@PPS/FC).The morphological characteristics of PPS/FC composite paper were characterized.And the effect of FC fiber content on the thermal insulation,fluid transport and thermal stability of PPS/FC composite paper was clarified.The light-to-heat conversion performance and durability of PPS/FC composite paper have been studied in detail.The results show that the bottom(porous network structure PPS/FC composite paper)exhibits high water transport capacity,good high temperature stability,and superior thermal insulation performance(0.0467 W·m-1K-1).Based on the above advantages,under 1 sunlight intensity(1 kw·m-2),the water evaporation rate of MWCNTs@PPS/FC reaches 1.34 kg·m-2h-1,and the evaporation efficiency is close to 95%.In addition,after several cycles,MWCNTs@PPS/FC composite paper still maintains a high solar evaporation efficiency,indicating its long-term durability and good reusability.In addition,MWCNTs@PPS/FC composite paper purifies clean water from simulated wastewater with different salinity,different p H values,heavy metal ions or industrial dyes,etc.,which meets drinking water standards(WHO definition)and has good desalination and wastewater purification ability.(2)Using wet papermaking and thermal compression molding processes,high-strength and high-modulus long carbon fiber(LCF)/polyphenylene sulfide(PPS)ultra-fine fiber composite panels(LCF/PPS)are prepared,and the thickness of the composite material and the length of the LCF are adjusted.To realize the uniform distribution and the quasi-two-dimensional orderly arrangement of LCFs in the composite board,the obtained LCF/PPS composite material has a quasi-two-dimensional ordered LCF array,which makes the LCFs have the advantages of uniform distribution and low loss,which makes it have better tensile and bending properties.The results show that when the initial length and the content of LCF are 15 mm and 40 wt%,respectively.when the thickness of PPS composite material is 1 mm,the LCF/PPS composite material achieves the best mechanical properties.Tensile strength,tensile modulus,the flexural strength and flexural modulus of the LCF/PPS composite are 150.9 MPa,3.6 GPa,536.9 MPa and 15.8 GPa,respectively.In addition,the prepared LCF/PPS composite exhibits controllable electrical conductivity.We have proposed a simple and effective method for preparing PPS/LCF composites with high-performance.
