Under the condition of different analysis requirements and design objective optimization purposes,different load cases and constraint application methods lead to different finite element simulation analysis schemes.If designers need to do manual modeling repeatedly in each period,it will inevitably lead to many repeated designs,which will lead to the extension of the production cycle.Therefore,in order to achieve efficient modeling and reduce repeated design,it is necessary to develop a set of user oriented CAD and FEA coupling system.In view of the complexity of solid modeling and simulation analysis of involute gear and the tedious operation of ANSYS modeling,and in order to solve the problems of the complexity of data processing process,the dispersion of model data,and the asynchronous updating of data information,a process oriented parametric modeling and finite element analysis system for involute gear is designed.The software platform of parametric modeling,regular mesh generation and finite element analysis for the transmission system of involute standard spur gear,modified helical gear and involute straight bevel gear based on user input main parameters is programmed.Through the program design,the system does not need to carry out tedious data file output and import.In the whole process of the design and modeling of the extended involute gear,all the structural coordinate data information of the gear entity model,all the element and node data information of the finite element mesh model,material attribute data information,load constraint data information and so on are unified in the same array,realizing the sharing and real-time synchronization.At the same time,parametric modeling of a pair of involute meshing gear transmission system,regular mesh generation and automatic identification and extraction of contact pairs are developed.Through the example analysis of involute gear transmission system,the numerical calculation results of contact stress of the software system are compared with the Hertz theory calculation results,and the influence of mesh size is also analyzed.The results show that the maximum relative error of the two calculation results is 1.2%,which is in good agreement.In addition,the parameterized modeling time and meshing time of the software system are 7 seconds and 60 seconds respectively,which are 11.6 and 5.3 times faster than those of the conventional commercial engineering software.When the mesh size is controlled at 0.01 mm,the stress nephogram is in good agreement with the results of Hertz theory,and the solution result is more ideal.It shows that the gear solid structure data,mesh generation,automatic identification and extraction of contact pairs,application of boundary conditions established by the parametric modeling and finite element analysis software system are correct and effective.The finite element analysis results are accurate and reliable,and the modeling and mesh generation speed is fast.It also verifies the effectiveness of the parameterized modeling and numerical simulation software of gear transmission system proposed in this paper.It provides a convenient,fast and correct modeling,meshing and numerical calculation software platform for the simulation analysis of actual gearbox,and has certain popularization and application significance.
