With the continuous development of science and technology and social production,product quality requirements are getting higher and higher.In mechanical products,some key parts are precise and complex,and traditional processing means are difficult to meet the processing requirements.The emergence of CNC machine tools has effectively solved the above problems.However,after years of development,China's CNC machine tools are still facing problems such as overcapacity of low-end CNC machine tools,high-end CNC machine tools relying on imports,and the monopoly of CNC systems and key components.Screw compressor has the advantages of simple composition,superior performance and broad market prospect.However,the core component of the screw compressor is complex and difficult to process.The introduction cost of processing equipment is high,and the related technology has been blocked.The domestic research on this kind of processing equipment is relatively less,so the product quality is at a low level for a long time.Therefore,based on a foreign brand of five axis CNC screw grinder,this paper carries out the localization research,which is of great significance to improve the processing level of screw rotor in China.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The forming mechanism of screw rotor is analyzed,and the main methods of profile design are combed.Based on Solid Works software,the model of male and female rotors for simulation analysis is built,and the machining process of grinding rotors with this type of grinder is proposed.(2)Based on a foreign brand five axis CNC screw rotor grinder,the transmission scheme and structure layout are analyzed,the structure of the grinder body is reverse designed,and the virtual assembly prototype the five axis grinder is established.(3)By analyzing the kinematic chain of the five axis grinder,the kinematic topological structure of this grinder is established,and the kinematic mathematical model of the five axis grinder is built based on D-H parameter method.The kinematic relationship of each component is simulated with MATLAB software.(4)The dynamic grinding mechanics theory of grinding process of grinding wheel is analyzed.Based on the kinematic relationship of the five axis grinding machine,the dynamic simulation model of the grinding process of the female rotor of the five axis grinding machine was established,and the variation law of the mechanical characteristics under different processing parameters was obtained by simulation.(5)Based on VERICUT simulation software,a virtual machining environment for grinding rotor of five axis grinder is built,and the machining process of female rotor is simulated.The simulation results effectively verify the machining ability of the designed grinder.The above research methods have reference significance for the design and development of the same type of machine tools.The five axis CNC screw grinding machine developed based on the above work has reasonable structure and processing capacity to meet the use requirements.At the same time,it provides a virtual simulation experimental environment for the optimization design of the forming wheel,which is conducive to the improvement of the rotor processing technology.
