The research of liquid disperse dyes has become a research hotspot in recent years,because it eliminates the spray drying process in the spray drying process,effectively reduces the washing process and COD discharge in wastewater in the application process,and meets the demand of dye liquefaction in the printing and dyeing automatic batching system.However,current liquid disperse dyes have some problems such as poor dyeing depth,dispersion stability and poor diffusion,which limit their large-scale application in dip dyeing.In this paper,liquid disperse dyes were prepared by mechanical grinding with horizontal sand mill.The effects of different dispersants on the dispersion and stability of dyes were discussed,and the dip dyeing properties of liquid disperse dyes were studied and compared with powder disperse dyes.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The preparation process of liquid disperse dyes was optimized by measuring the particle size and particle size distribution index(PDI)after grinding.Taking disperse blue 79 filter cake as an example,the optimized grinding process was as follows: the filling amount of zirconia bead was 70% of the volume of the grinding chamber,the grinding speed was 2800r/min,the diameter of the zirconia bead was 1 mm,the grinding time was 2 hours,and the amount of dispersant was 40%(the weight of dried dye filter cake).The particle size of the prepared dye under this process was 216 nm and PDI was 0.178.(2)The performance of dispersant is the key factors in the preparation of liquid disperse dyes.The effects of two kinds of non-ionic dispersants,fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether(AEO-6?AEO-7?AEO-9?AEO-15?AEO-20)and fatty amine polyoxyethylene ether(1205?1210?1215?1810?1815?1820?1830)on the dispersion and stability of dyes were studied.The results showed that the dispersion and stabilization effect of liquid dispersion dye prepared by fatty amine polyoxyethylene ether was better than that of fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether.AEO-15 was the best among the fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether,and the particle size of the prepared dye was 548 nm,PDI 0.250.The particle size and PDI increased with time at room temperature,but the particle precipitated at 60 ? for 6 days.Among the fatty amine polyoxyethylene ether 1815 was the best,and the particle size of the prepared dye was 216 nm and PDI was 0.178.The dye particle size was 291?299 nm and the PDI was 0.201?0.212 at the room temperature for 90?180 days.At the same time,the dye particle size was 399?412 nm and the PDI was 0.187?0.214 at 60? for 90?180 days.The diffusion performance of liquid dyes prepared by the two kinds of non-ionic dispersants was poor,which was 2 grade.The effects of five kinds of anionic dispersants,such as potassium monoalkyl ether phosphate(MAEPK),fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether phosphate(AEO-9P),fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sodium sulfate(AES),fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sodium carboxylate(AEC-9Na)and methylene bis-naphthalene sulfonate(NNO)on the dispersion and stability of dyes were studied.The results showed that AES was the best.The particle size of the prepared dye with AES was 194 nm and PDI was 0.208.The dye particle size was246?251nm and the PDI was 0.218?0.224 at room temperature for 90?180 days,while the dye particle size was 404?438 nm and the PDI was 0.228?0.241 at 60? for 90?180 days.The diffusion performance of liquid dyes prepared by these five kinds of anionic dispersants was good,which was 4 grade.The effects of 1815 and AES on the dispersion and stability of dyes were studied.The results showed that when the mass ratio of 1815 to AES was 1:1,the dispersion and stability of dyes was the best.The particle size of the prepared dye was 217 nm and PDI was 0.204.The dye particle size was 252?254 nm and the PDI was 0.215?0.219 at room temperature for90?180 days,and the dye particle size was 346?353 nm and the PDI was 0.219?0.231 at 60?for 90?180 days.The liquid dye prepared by the compound dispersant had good diffusion performance,which reached 4 grade.The liquid disperse dyes prepared by the compound dispersant had good dispersion,stability and diffusion properties.(3)The comparison of the dyeing performance of self-made liquid disperse dyes and powder disperse dyes showed that there was no difference in the levelness of the fabric(the unevenness was below 0.05).The dyeing depth(K/S value)of liquid dyes was 5-9% higher than that of powder dyes.At high concentration(?4%),color fastness of liquid dye dyed fabric was a half-level higher than that of powder dye dyed fabric.The COD of the dyeing residual liquid reduced by 41 to 47% compared with that that of powder dyes,and the emission reduction effect was obvious.
