In order to improve the added value of cotton fabric,silver nanowires(AgNWs)were used to prepare a kind of functional cotton fabric.Firstly,AgNWs was prepared by a simple one-step polyol method,and the effect of synthesis conditions on the morphology of AgNWs was studied;Then,the cotton fabric was pretreated by plasma,and the AgNWs was finished on the surface of the cotton fabric by impregnation drying method to prepare a kind of functional cotton fabric.The electrical conductivity,anti UV performance,antibacterial performance and other functional properties were tested,and a kind of functional cotton fabric with high antibacterial property,good electrical conductivity and anti UV performance was obtained;In order to improve the style of the fabric,the fabric was treated with sericin.The effects of sericin on the water absorption and air permeability of AgNWs/cotton fabric were studied.Finally,the functional cotton fabric with good style was obtained.The specific research contents are as follows:The first step is the preparation of AgNWs.The effects of molecular weight of polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP),reaction temperature,stirring speed and control agent on the morphology and size of silver nanowires were studied.The size and structure of silver nanowires were characterized by electron microscopy.Silver nanowires with high aspect ratio were synthesized.The average diameter was 65 nm and the average length was 76 μm.The highest aspect ratio is 1828,with an average of 1086.The second step is the preparation of functional cotton fabric AgNWs/cotton fabric.Silver nanowires/ethanol dispersions with mass concentrations of 2,4,6,8,10,20 and 30 g/L were prepared.The cotton fabric was pretreated with plasma,and the finished fabric was impregnated with silver nanowire dispersion,and then further treated by hot pressing.The effects of mass concentration of silver nanowires and plasma treatment on the conductivity and antibacterial properties of AgNWs/cotton fabric were discussed.The results show that when the mass concentration of silver nanowires increases from 0 g/L to 30 g/L,the UPF value of AgNWs/cotton fabric increases from 7.27 to 63.42,increasing by 7.72 times;When the mass concentration of silver nanowires increased from 2 g/L to 30 g/L,the sheet resistance increased from 139.5% Ω/sq decreased to 33.9 Ω/sq.The UPF of the cotton fabric modified by silver nanowires treated by plasma and hot pressing increased to 92.3 and the sheet resistance decreased to 5.67 Ω/ The UV resistance and conductivity of the fabric are better than that of the untreated cotton fabric.The last step is the improvement of fabric style.Firstly,sodium periodate was used to oxidize cotton fabric to produce aldehyde groups on the surface of cotton fabric.The influence of oxidation treatment conditions on cotton fabric was explored.The best treatment conditions were selected to improve the adhesion rate of sericin.The oxidized cotton fabric was treated with sericin to make the surface of cotton fabric adhere sericin,and then the cotton fabric finished with sericin was impregnated with AgNWs.The effect of sericin finish on the properties of AgNWs/cotton fabric was studied.The results show that the anti ultraviolet property and electric conductivity of oxidized cotton fabric are improved after finishing with sericin and AgNWs,and the fabric style including water absorption and air permeability are improved in varying degrees.
