With the improvement of life quality,people pay more and more attention to the health care function of daily necessities.As an important part of human sleep,the quality of pillow directly affects people's sleep quality and even cervical spine health.Based on this,we need to study the most reasonable pillow design from the aspects of pillow material and pillow design.By analyzing the research status of pillows,it is known that latex is widely used in bedding design and has the effect of relieving pressure of head and neck.When using latex function pillow,it can significantly reduce the incidence rate of cervical spondylosis and neck pain related diseases.Therefore,the paper chooses latex as the pillow core material for the research and design of pillow type.The compression and shear properties of latex foam were simulated and analyzed in the finite element software ABAQUS,and the best fitting way of latex foam material was obtained through comparison and analysis.Then,based on the theory of ergonomics,the head and neck size parameters obtained by the sampling method were applied to the design process of latex pillow,and the head and neck model of human body was created.Through the finite element simulation experiment of latex pillow with different thickness under human pressure,the best type of latex pillow is obtained.The paper was divided into six parts.First of all,the background of the subject,the purpose and significance of the research,the research status of sleeping pillow and finite element,the main contents,methods,innovations and difficulties of the research were briefly introduced,and the framework of the paper was expounded.The next,the microstructure,density,uniaxial compressive properties,uniaxial tensile properties and simple shear properties of latex foam were tested and analyzed,and the related characteristic data of latex materials were obtained.Then,with the help of the experimental data obtained before,simulated the uniaxial compressive properties and the simple shear properties of latex foam through various methods in the finite element software ABAQUS,and compared the different simulation models,and concluded that the relatively optimal simulation method of latex foam is low density foam simulation.After the completion of the simulation experiment of latex foam,the overall design of "human pillow" model was carried out,that is,the design of human head and neck model and latex pillow model.Before setting the parameters of latex pillow,we needed to use the sampling method to collect and analyze the relevant data of adult women's head and neck.In addition,the fourth chapter also established the mathematical model of latex deformation through simulation experiments,which provided help for the later research of latex pillow surface reverse engineering.Then,on the basis of determining the relevant parameters of the 50 th percentile adult female head and neck model and the latex pillow model in the previous work,the final design scheme of the latex pillow was determined through multiple "human pillow" simulation in ABAQUS.At the same time,the sponge was used as the contrast material of latex to study the pillow design when the pillow core material was sponge,and then the special latex orthopedic pillow was designed for people with abnormal cervical spine.Finally,the paper summarized the whole paper and predicted the future research direction.
