| As the most common polymer material,PVC was widely used in the research and development of airtight airbag Wall because of its wide source and low price.However,the flame retardancy of PVC was poor,so it was difficult to meet the requirements of flame retardancy of airtight airbag wall.Therefore,Sb2O3 and ZHS were added to PVC to enhance its flame retardancy.The orthogonal experiment was designed to modify nano-CaCO3,and the modified nano-CaCO3 was added to the PVC coating material to enhance the strength of the PVC coating material.When the modification temperature was 70℃,the amount of titanate coupling agent was 3.0%of the quality of nano CaCO3,the modification time was 50 min,and the speed was 600 r/min,the activation rate of modified nano CaCO3 by titanate coupling agent was highest.The tensile strength and elongation at break of PVC coating material were significantly improved by adding modified nano-CaCO3.nano-CaCO3 had little effect on the flame retardancy of PVC coating materials,but the overall strength of the material was significantly improved.The flame retardant and smoke suppression effects of Sb2O3,ZHS and Sb2O3/ZHS composite flame retardant on PVC coating materials were studied.The flame retardant effect of Sb2O3/ZHS compound flame retardant on PVC coating material,which was better than that of adding two kinds of them alone.When the ratio of Sb2O3 and ZHS was 1:2,the peak heat release rate and total heat release of PVC coating material decreased by 77.1%,and 61.7%with 12%flame retardant,and the peak smoke release rate and total smoke release of PVC coating material decreased by 50%and 28.9%with 3%flame retardant,The flame retardant and smoke suppression effect of the composite system were obvious.But the smoke suppression effect of Sb2O3 was not obvious,and ZHS flame retardant had obvio us smoke suppression effect on PVC coating material.The addition amount of Sb2O3 affected the comprehensive smoke suppression effect of the composite flame retardant Sb2O3/ZHS.When the modified PVC coating material was applied to the wall of airtight airbag,the overall strength and flame retardancy of the wall were significantly improved.The results showed that the limiting oxygen index(LOI)of the modified PVC coating increased by 17.70%,the peak of heat release rate decreased by 33.73%,the total heat release decreased by 23.6%,the tensile strength and elongation at break increased by 11.48%and 5.81%. |
