With the continuous development of global manufacturing industry,the performance requirements of some key component materials are becoming higher and higher in various fields,especially in the field of aerospace.Titanium alloy is widely used in aerospace field because of its light weight,high strength and excellent performance.However,the processing of titanium alloy material is difficult and the tool wear is fast.When determining the machining process of titanium alloy,conservative cutting parameters are often selected,the machining efficiency is low and the cost is increased.Therefore,in order to reduce the processing cost,this paper aims at the optimization of cutting parameters and feed adjustment strategy in titanium alloy milling,and completes the following work:(1)Tool wear prediction and cutting parameter optimization.The form and process of tool wear are analyzed,the tool wear of end milling cutter is measured,the orthogonal machining experiment of titanium alloy cavity is carried out,the tool wear samples are collected,the BP neural network model is established by MATLAB,to predict tool wear.(2)Determination of tool wear status based on spindle current.The relationship between spindle current and tool wear is analyzed.According to the mathematical model of cutting parameter-spindle current,using the spindle current acquisition function developed by 625,the tool wear state is judged by comparing and analyzing the spindle current of the same cutting parameters.(3)The feed parameter adjustment strategy considering tool wear is determined.A fuzzy rule of "natural language" is established and the membership function of input and output is determined based on the fuzzy theory,the fuzzy measurement table is output,the Simulink simulation model of feed parameter adjustment is established,the feed speed adjustment of fuzzy system is converted into feed rate block of machine tool,and the data is designed to complete the simulation.(4)The cutting verification experiment was completed.The cavity machining experiment is carried out with the optimized cutting parameters,the accuracy of the prediction model and the optimization algorithm is verified,the accuracy of the cutting parameter-spindle current model is verified by the tool walking experiment,and the feed speed of the tool walking experiment is changed.
