The Artistic Characteristics Of Yunnan Dai Brocade And Its Innovative Application In Modern Costume Design

Traditional Chinese fabrics,embroideries,brocade and brocade are numerous in variety and variety.These traditional brocade techniques are the deposits of the Chinese nation’s history and culture.Dai brocade is a kind of traditional folk handicraft inherited in the Dai region.Affected by the local history and culture,the brocade of the Dai nationality in Yunnan Province has formed its unique artistic characteristics.With the rapid development of society,this traditional handicraft is also facing the situation of extinction.Through the research on the historical development and artistic characteristics of Dai brocade,this paper combines Dai brocade with modern costumes and further explores its development path,so that this traditional ethnic handicraft can be better inherited and understood by more people.In this paper,the history and culture of Dai brocade,weaving skills,weaving tools of Dai brocade,artistic characteristics of patterns and colors of Dai brocade,inheritance and development of Dai brocade in modern costume design were deeply studied.Based on the history and culture of the Dai brocade,through the collection of a large number of data and pictures for research and analysis,summed up the Dai brocade weaving technology and the artistic characteristics of patterns and colors,and further to the deep artistic characteristics of the Dai brocade and the artistic integration of the Dai brocade in modern aesthetic research.Through the research content of this article,combined with the history of dai brocade culture,design,color and artistic features of theory achievement,the modern clothing with dai brocade colour,design,combining the design practice,design a fusion dai brocade culture characteristics and a series of clothing design aesthetic,reached the research so as to use.This paper adopted the method of reading literature and field research method to study the history and culture of dai brocade art characteristics,using the analysis comparison to the dai brocade aesthetic characteristics and to study the modern’s aesthetic art,it is concluded that the differences of two kinds of aesthetic characteristics exist,to discover its design of composition and color difference,and to further study the commonality of its existence,The commonness that constitutes element and pattern color commonness.Analyze how to better extend and develop in the modern clothing design,so that it can better inherit and develop,and then achieve the purpose of sustainable development.
