| Menthol is a small cyclic semiterpenoid molecule with good antibacterial activity in nature.Among the 8 chiral structures of menthol,L-menthol has antibacterial and antiinflammatory activities that are different from other chirals.At the same time,menthol is present in mint leaves and other plants,with high yields and good returns.Therefore,introducing L-menthol into small molecules capable of forming polymers and modifying them,and modifying polyester materials with antibacterial activity is a severe and profound test in the antibacterial field.Menthol is a kind of terpenoid,which belongs to cyclic semiterpene.Menthol is a natural chiral antibacterial small molecule that is currently relatively easy to obtain in nature[1].Menthol has 8 different chiral three-dimensional structures.In this paper,one of the Lmenthol with cooling and antibacterial properties is used as the raw material to synthesize triazine p-aminobenzoic acid(CMP)menthol monomer by nucleophilic substitution,and the polyarylate with L-menthol is obtained by melt polycondensation.The material—polymenthol ethylene glycol para-aminobenzoate(PMEG),has been successfully synthesized after a series of characterization methods such as MS,1H-NMR,GPC and WCA.The antibacterial performance of the polyester polymer material containing menthol pendant groups was verified by means of bacterial escape,fungal escape and other means,and the results proved that this new type of polyester material has good antibacterial activity.The main research results are as follows:In this paper,a polyester polymer material is synthesized,and by introducing a chiral three-dimensional structural unit-L-menthol to make it have certain antibacterial properties,which is better than the traditional saturated polyester material-polyester resin(PET)The antibacterial activity.The research results show that this new type of antibacterial polyester material is a new type.of material that is different from the traditional antibacterial strategy. |
