Gears are important mechanical parts that transmit motion and power through the interaction of meshed tooth surfaces.The processing quality of tooth surfaces has a direct impact on the performance of gear transmission.In order to ensure that the machining accuracy of the gear tooth surface meets the design and use requirements,it is usually necessary to measure its accuracy with related instruments.The geometric characteristics of the gear tooth surface include tooth profile,helix,pitch and surface roughness,etc.It usually takes multiple times to complete the measurement of all items.Aiming at the problem that commonly used gear measuring instruments cannot complete the measurement of tooth profile,waviness and roughness at one time,this paper proposes for the first time a cylindrical gear tooth profile measurement solution based on roughness profilometer,which realizes the deviation of tooth profile shape,waviness and surface roughness The method is used to measure the degree of wear at the same time,and the method has successfully solved the problem of distributed quantitative evaluation of tooth surface wear in the gear test.The main research contents of the thesis are as follows:(1)The method of using the roughness profilometer to obtain the multi-scale geometric characteristics of the cylindrical gear tooth profile at one time is studied,and the orthogonal distance fitting algorithm is used to process the measured data,which solves the problem of the curve measured by the profilometer and the real tooth profile model.To match the problem,the tooth profile deviation curve is obtained,which lays the foundation for the gear accuracy evaluation.(2)The separation of multi-scale geometric features of gears and the evaluation methods of tooth profile form deviation,waviness and surface roughness are studied.According to the current relevant gear accuracy evaluation standards,the tooth form profile deviation evaluation of cylindrical gears is realized,and the evaluation methods of tooth profile waviness and surface roughness are also given.(3)A distributed quantitative evaluation method for tooth surface wear in the FZG gear test is proposed.The data processing method of serial tooth profile curves obtained during the test was studied,the actual tooth profile model was established,and the distributed quantitative calculation method of tooth surface wear was proposed.For the first time,the tooth surface wear at different test stages during the pitting test was realized.The distributed quantitative evaluation of the gears has laid a solid foundation for the research of gear wear mechanism.(4)The uncertainty of the measurement of the profile form deviation of the cylindrical gear tooth profile using the roughness profilometer is studied.The source of measurement uncertainty is analyzed,and the uncertainty evaluation result of tooth profile form deviation is given.This paper systematically studies the cylindrical gear tooth profile measurement method based on the roughness profilometer,and verifies the feasibility of the proposed method through experiments,and provides a new solution for the measurement and evaluation of the multi-scale geometric features of the cylindrical gear tooth profile.
