With the rapid development of social economy,people’s living standards continue to improve,and their aesthetic consciousness is awakening,which brings about more attention to spiritual pursuits.In this context,the jewelry industry ushers in a leap in its scale.Jewelry is not only for decoration,but also contains multiple meanings,and designers have also made breakthroughs and innovations in terms of material and form.With the maturity of the jewelry market and the dominance of fast-paced fashion trends,jewelry,as a commodity,has certain timeliness,and consumers have more tolerance and acceptance of such products.Therefore,the designer’s design concept,to a great extent,is magnified as the added value of the product,and every new creative form can be considered as an innovation.In recent years,the application of the time-honored enamel craftsmanship to contemporary jewelry products is prevailing.However,the players of the industry are facing problems in the innovation of the traditional craftsmanship.The inheritance and development of traditional craftsmanship in modern society should not be limited to taking the essence and discarding the dross,but should be more about innovation,and only in this way can it obtain matched development of the society.As a crucial type of enamel craftsmanship,painted enamel has great flexibility in creation.This paper starts with the origin of painted enamel,summarizes the tools and technological processes used,analyses the types of technology,and outlines the application status of painted enamel in jewelry at home and abroad in detail.Based on the above contents,this paper summarizes the previous theoretical research results and completes the personal practice of the innovative pencil-painted enamel.Additionally,this paper combines theory and practice,and strives to make the expression of painted enamel craftsmanship in jewelry more clear,highlighting the artistic value of this craftsmanship applied in jewelry,so as to explore its new development direction in jewelry application.
