Magnetorheological jet composite finishing technology is a kind of processing technology formed by the combination of jet technology and magnetorheological technology,which is used for polishing and surface finishing of optical parts.In view of the difficulty of finishing complex surfaces and inner cavity surfaces in metal parts,and considering the flexibility and accessibility of magnetorheological jet,this thesis intends to use magnetorheological jet composite finishing technology to process metal parts.Therefore,in this thesis,the low-cost 45# steel is used as the workpiece material,and the magnetorheological jet composite finishing technology is studied through experiments.The specific contents are as follows:First of all,the configuration and composition of magnetorheological fluid were studied by experiments.Based on the different properties of magnetorheological fluids with different components,three configuration schemes of magnetorheological fluids were proposed,and the precipitability and process complexity of the magnetorheological fluids were compared.through the effects of different formulations on the viscosity,shear force and bunching properties of magnetorheological fluids,the composition of magnetorheological fluids was determined.The results show that the magnetorheological fluid has good performance.Then,based on the principle of magnetorheological jet composite finishing,a magnetorheological jet finishing device was built.The relationship between the magnetic field intensity in the device and the power supply voltage was studied,and it was found that the magnetic field intensity increased with the increase of voltage.Based on the finishing technology,the feasibility experiment of 45# steel processing was carried out.The results showed that the magnetorheological jet finishing device could provide uniform magnetic field through the external power supply,and the magnetic field intensity was positively correlated with the voltage,which verified the feasibility of processing 45# steel with magnetorheological jet.Finally,based on the roughness change mechanism of magnetorheological finishing,single factor experiments and orthogonal experiments were carried out.The effects of magnetic field intensity,jet speed,processing time and wear particle diameter on the surface roughness of 45#steel were studied by single factor experiment.The results show that with the decrease of particle size,the increase of magnetic field intensity and processing time,the surface roughness decreases,and with the increase of jet velocity,the surface roughness decreases at first and then increases.Through the orthogonal experiment of magnetorheological jet finishing 45# steel,the range and variance of each factor are analyzed,and the optimal process combination and the significance of each factor are obtained.through the experiment,it is found that the surface roughness of 45#steel is 0.267μm.Magnetorheological jet finishing technology can be applied to the finishing of45# steel.
