In the era of Industry 4.0,with the popularity of industrial Internet,information system technology and the whole supply chain concept,garment enterprises have started to adopt intelligent production mode,reducing inventory and improving production efficiency have become important demands,and 3D visualization and simulation technology for intelligent garment production has become more and more important in the rapidly developing garment industry.At present,there is no special simulation software for intelligent garment production system,and the market is mainly manufacturing logistics general simulation software.In this paper,the functional analysis of the simulation software for smart garment making system is carried out for the current demand for smart garment making,and Unity3 D is used as a tool to develop a 3D simulation modeling software for smart garment making simulation system,and the usability of the simulation software is tested.This paper accomplishes several elements as follows.(1)Analyze the software development functions through the garment-making assembly line,select a suitable modeling and development platform,conduct a requirement analysis of the simulation system for virtual intelligent garment-making,determine the functions of the system,design the development process,and propose a general plan for development.(2)Establish a sewing equipment library,draw a model of common sewing equipment,and design the data structure according to the virtual simulation requirements.Combine the data structure and the physical model of sewing equipment to realize key functions such as collision detection,equipment movement,and equipment connection of sewing equipment model,and design the animation of sewing equipment processing process.And on this basis,develop data logging related modules to record sewing equipment operation data.(3)Establishing material simulation model,this paper designs simulation software for intelligent garment making process.The processing object is fabric,which belongs to the flexible body model.According to the mass-spring physical model,the unique flexible body physical characteristics of fabric are realized by combining the fabric grid structure.For the process of cutting and other processing of flexible body,we design the descending Boolean algorithm for flexible body to realize the processing simulation effect of flexible body in the intelligent garment production line.(4)Design the software UI operability interface according to the needs of the simulation platform,through which the simulation model is established,the sewing equipment attributes are set,and the running state of the sewing equipment model is controlled and the final simulation data can be displayed,reflecting the operability of the intelligent garment making simulation system.The VR device interface is created to realize the first-view tour of the virtual simulation system and to show the visualization function of the intelligent garment-making simulation system.(5)Finally,the function demonstration of the intelligent garment-making virtual simulation system was carried out,and the simulation model of sewing equipment was constructed through the case of the shirt assembly line,and the parameters of each sewing equipment were set.Run the simulation model,show the process of running the 3D simulation model,get the simulation model data and show it.Demonstrate the effect of using the software.
