Carbon molecular sieve has as porous carbon material with good corrosion resistance, because of their good thermal stability,a high surface area and excellent adsorption properties, strong adsorption properties, the CMS has widely exhibited extensive application prospect in gas separation storage capacitor electrode, landfill, waste water treatment and catalyst etc.In this paper, using starch and sucrose as raw materials, series of carbon molecular sieve were fabricated by one step synthesis of F127 as structure directing agent.the influence factors which include the activation concentration, the ratio of F127,reaction time and reaction temperature, were investigated to determine the optimum preparation conditions by the single factor experiment, and the carbon molecular sieve was studied in wastewater treatment capacity to determine the most appropriate adsorption conditions as well as their adsorption capacity was investigated.A series of carbon molecular sieve were prepared by K2CO3 or KOH,using starch and sucrose as carbon source by one step synthesis in the third chapter and the fourth chapter. The samples were characterized by SEM,FT-IR,TG and N2-adsorption/desorption techniques to explore the influence factors of carbon molecular sieve and study the influence of the precursor preparation process on the pore structure of carbon molecular sieve.Different carbon molecular sieves were preliminary used to investigate on the adsorption performance of methyl orange and chromium ions in wastewater in the firth chapter. Finally, the effects of p H,CMS addition ratio, adsorption time and initial solution concentration were also discussed on the adsorption properties.Summary of the above research and analysis, the main research contents and conlusions of the paper are as follows:1.Carbon molecular sieve materials was prepared through one step synthesis, using starch and sucrose as raw material, experiments of different carbon sources to the preparation of carbon molecular sieve properties have different pore structure by different activation system, and the preparation conditions were explored,Results show that the concentration of activator, adding ratio F127 and the reaction time had significant influence on the pore properties of carbon molecular sieve, and the reaction temperature had little effect on the structure parameters. We preliminary studied the preparation mechanism of carbon molecular sieve, which uses starch and sucrose as raw material,by infrared spectrum, thermogravimetric analysis of TG and XRD,the experimental results show that the activation agent is critical in the preparation of pore forming process, relatively good precursor polymer was prepared by thermal polymerization reaction through blending of F127 and raw material,at an activation temperature with KOH activating agent to produce the final products with high surface area and well developed pore structures, the carbon molecular sieve with high specific surface area and pore structure, was prepared by activation agent in stable activation temperature, the precursor polymer of CMS was activated decarburization by chemical activation in the high temperature to form the pore structure, the ratio of chemical activation agent played a significant role in pore development and adsorption performance of the carbon molecular sieve, and a preliminary understanding of the synthesis mechanism in combination with characteristic analysis.2.Starch-based carbon molecular sieve as adsorbent, which was prepared though K2CO3 and KOH activation step, was used for Cr(VI)and methyl orange simulated wastewater.Sucrose-based carbon molecular sieve that was prepared by K2CO3activation,as an adsorbent for adsorption of methyl orange wastewater.Various conditions including CMS dosage, adsorption time,p H value, initial concentration of wastewater and other factors, were evaluated on the adsorptive capacity and adsorption rate of the solution by UV-spectrophotometer test. The study found that the CMS which was prepared by different materials in different activated system, was used as adsorbent of difference of methyl orange wastewater, adsorption properties of the CMS can be regulated by changing adsorption conditions.such as the adsorption of carbon molecular sieve can be influenced by different performance p H value,starch-based carbon molecular sieve that was prepared by KOH activation,as as adsorbent on the adsorption of methyl orange wastewater,p H has no significant influence on the adsorption performance,so its influence can be neglected, but the adsorption of other carbon molecular sieve is restricted by the p H.Carbon molecular sieve was studied for providing technical support and dye adsorption mechanism in different(alkali or acid system)environmental treatment of wastewater, the experimental results show that high quality carbon molecular sieve as an efficient new adsorbent in treatment of methyl orange and heavy metals and other industrial wastewater, will have wide application potential in the field of wastewater treatment.
