The development of biological industry has great strategic significance on solving a series of problems in the world,such as population,environment,energy and so on.So it has become the focus of competition among countries.As the fastest growing part in the chain of biological industry,biological medicine industry is highly valued by the country.Especially after enacting the 13 th Five-Year Plan,biological medicine industry develops more rapidly in China.However,Chinese biological medicine industry starts late and their technology is not mature,it’s difficult to surpass the biological companies in developed countries in a short time.In this paper,based on the theory of strategy management,competitive strategy and marketing,we focus on A biotechnology company and try to explore the market position and competitive strategy for biological medicine companies in new period.First,we use PEST framework and Porter’s five competitive forces model to analyze theexternal macro environment and industry competition situation.Secondly,we analyze and summarize the A company’s internal environment.Finally,based on the internal and external environment analysis and SWOT analysis tool,we develop new competitive strategy and relevant implementation,which will make great practical contribution to the biological medicine industry.
