Study On Pollution Status And Control Measures Of Zhaolan Xin River In Zhaodong City

As the birthplace of human civilization,rivers play an extremely important role in people’s production and life.Rivers provide good basic conditions for the living and production development of residents along the river Banks,and also promote the continuous progress of human society.Zhaolan Xin River is located in Zhaodong City and Hulan County.It runs from the flood gate in Qingkenpao detention area to the Erdao River in Hulan River,with a total length of 93 km.Zhaolan Xin River,as a tributary of the Hulan River,will be injected into the Songhua River.Although compared with the Songhua River,Zhaolan Xin River has less water.But in recent years,Zhaolan Xin River has been used as a drain for industrial enterprises along the coast.Substances are seriously exceeded,and the water body is black and smelly.In recent years,it has always been inferior Class V water bodies.The indicators such as chemical oxygen demand and ammonia nitrogen have exceeded the standard for many years.Causing the death of fish and shrimping in the river and the decline or even termination of crops on both sides of the river,has brought great troubles to the economic development and residents’life along both sides of the river.Based on literature review,current situation analysis and countermeasures analysis,this paper demonstrates the necessity of ecological management,protection and utilization of Zhaolan Xin River on the basis of ecological civilization construction and sustainable development.Based on the theory of river ecology,the effect of urbanization on rivers,and the cause of urban black and smelly water,this paper thinks from five aspects:enterprise sewage,domestic sewage,agricultural non-point source pollution,comprehensive pollution control and safeguard measures.Based on the monitoring data of Zhaodong City watershed of Zhaolan Xin River,the possible influencing factors of each pollutant are analyzed item by item:the main causes of COD pollution are industrial wastewater and farmland drainage,and ammonia nitrogen is mainly agricultural non-point source pollution.After three years of continuous water quality monitoring,the following conclusions are drawn:Zhaodong city has achieved remarkable results in the treatment of Zhaolan Xin River.By 2019,the COD concentration of the incoming water has been reduced to 107.29 mg/L,the ammonia concentration to 3.67 mg/L,the total phosphorus concentration to 0.43 mg/L and the total nitrogen concentration to 5.40 mg/L.Compared with 2017,the figures were 28.33%,37.59%,75.14%and 30.95%,respectively.The COD concentration of the exiting water was reduced to 115.58mg/L,the ammonia concentration to 4.12mg/L,the total phosphorus concentration to 0.57mg/L,and the total nitrogen concentration to 6.15mg/L.Compared with 2017,the figures were 26.81%,39.85%,73.85%and 30.03%,respectively.It has effectively controlled the phenomenon that the development of industry and agriculture in Zhaodong city leads to the significant increase of pollutants in the water and the serious deterioration of the water environment.In addition,excellent cases of river comprehensive improvement in other regions and innovative methods of river pollution control at home and abroad are summarized.According to the information of Zhaolan Xin River’s own geographical location,climatic factors and the specific conditions along the river,the method suitable for Zhaolan Xin River is found,and the countermeasures corresponding to its own situation are put forward.Finally,the following suggestions are made:(1)Vigorously strengthen the investment in environmental infrastructure construction,strengthen the supervision of started construction,and ensure that environmental protection projects are completed on schedule with good quality and quantity.(2)Accelerate the transformation of enterprises along the river,rectify or shut down enterprises that fail to meet the standards within a time limit,and control polluting enterprises in combination with the new environmental protection law.(3)Reduce the pollution of livestock and poultry breeding,actively promote the construction of rural domestic sewage and garbage facilities,effectively control the pollution of agricultural planting,and ensure the safety of rural drinking water.The key point is to play the greatest role in reducing agricultural non-point source pollution,making coastal drinking water sources clear and free of peculiar smell,and ensuring people’s drinking water safety.
