With the continuous and rapid development of my country’s economy, environmental problems in different regions of my country have gradually begun to show up.Minority areas are economically underdeveloped areas in my country. The ecological environment itself is extremely fragile. The continuous development of industry and the continuous increase of population make the various environmental pollution problems that it faces more prominent.Aiming at the current situation of environmental pollution in ethnic minority areas,we will conduct in-depth research and explore the relationship between economic growth and environmental pollution in minority areas.Identify the factors that have a greater impact on environmental pollution, and propose reasonable solutions to keep the economy growing, and alleviate the environmental pollution problem. This is of great significance to the sustainable economic development of minority areas. This article explores the impact of economic growth on environmental pollution, using quantitative research and literature research methods, and using economic and environmental data from ethnic minority areas from 2000 to 2017,using the environmental Kuznets curve and STIRPAT model for derivation,to empirically investigate whether there is an environmental Kuznets inverted "U" curve relationship in the process of economic development, and economic growth on environmental pollution Influence, and then put forward corresponding policy recommendations based on the test results.Based on the empirical results, this article draws the following conclusions:First, there is an inverted "N" relationship between economic growth and sulfur dioxide emissions in minority areas. There is an inverted "N" relationship between economic growth and smoke(dust)dust emissions in minority areas. There is a traditional EKC inverted "U"relationship between economic growth and waste feishui discharge in minority areas. There is a linear relationship between economic growth and solid emissions in minority areas.Prove that the discharge of solid waste continues to increase with economic growth.Secondly, according to the STIRPAT model verification, the increase in GDP in minority areas will cause positive changes in(smoke)dust, waste feishui, and solid waste emissions, and will cause negative changes in sulfur dioxide;the increase in population in minority areas will cause sulfur dioxide,(Smoke)The positive changes in the discharge of dust and solid waste have no significant impact on wastefeishui;the development of secondary and tertiary industries in ethnic minority areas will cause positive changes in the discharge of sulfur dioxide and(smoke)dust. The impact of the object is not significant. This article puts forward policy recommendations from five aspects:changing development concept, increasing investment in science and technology, promoting industrial modernization, defining property rights, improving legislation and management.
