With the decrease of fossil resources and the global greenhouse effect and environmental pollution caused by the burning of fossil resources,more and more attention has been paid to the research and development of clean,cheap and sustainable green energy.As the only renewable and green organic carbon resource,biomass is considered to be an ideal substitute for fossil resources to produce liquid fuels and high value-added chemicals.Among them,the conversion and utilization of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(5-HMF)with high added value has always been a research hotspot.The selective catalytic conversion of HMF can realize the preparation of various oxygenated fuels and chemicals.2,5-Bis(methoxymethyl)furan(BMMF),a hydroetherification product of HMF,has been proved to have no significant difference in engine operation for any test mix ratio when applied to a six cylinder heavy-duty engine.At present,the preparation of BMMF requires the interaction of hydrogenation catalyst and acid catalyst,and the reported product selectivity is low.In order to solve these problems,we developed a bifunctional cobalt catalyst with hydrogenation activity and etherification activity to realize HMF high selective reduction and etherification to BMMF.In this work,the hydrogel etherification bifunctional Cu-Co catalyst was prepared by sol-gel method,which was used to catalyze the conversion of 5-HMF to BMMF under mild conditions.The effects of reaction temperature,hydrogen pressure,time and the amount of Substrate Catalyst on the product distribution were studied.The highest yield of BMMF was 85.9%at 130℃,2 MPa H2and 2 h.The activity of the catalyst decreased after 5 cycles.In the bifunctional catalyst,Co3O4provides Lewis acid site,Cu2O and Co0provide hydrogenation atmosphere,and finally realize one-step hydrogenation etherification of HMF to prepare BMMF.
