With the acceleration of urbanization,the cultivated land area is decreasing year by year,and the problem of environment and is becoming more and more prominent.However,the potential of land in cities needs to be tapped.In order to make rational use of urban space,new and quantifiable sustainable spatial planning methods are urgently needed in the future.At the same time,as a new concept,productive community began to appear in people’s vision.Comprehensive assessment of the agricultural environment and spatial potential of the community itself is the first step to put the concept of productive city into practice,so as to promote the systematic planning and construction of productive community.The purpose of this paper is to propose a universal and reproducible framework for calculating the agricultural environment and productivity potential of urban communities,which can provide a scientific qualitative and quantitative assessment of the agricultural planning and transformation of existing communities.This paper will start from the following four aspects:(1)By summarizing the development process and practical cases of community agriculture at home and abroad,the types,technologies and functions of community agriculture are sorted out,and the advantages and challenges of developing community agriculture in China are pointed out.(2)Establishing a framework for evaluating the productive environment of communities,analyzing the social and natural environment of existing community agriculture,starting from four aspects:policy environment,residents’cognitive will,macro-climate environment and micro-climate environment,using questionnaires,photogrammetry,spatial calculation and environmental simulation analysis tools to comprehensively assess the agricultural feasibility of specific communities,based on environmental characteristics.Based on the human settlement conditions and crop growth habits,the basis for selecting community crop varieties was proposed.(3)On the basis of the above general framework,a statistical method based on UAV spatial geographic information collection and spatial analysis and the implementation strategy of urban community complex environment assessment are proposed,which can be used to quickly,accurately and conveniently inventory the agricultural space of existing communities,and the potential of community agriculture in three aspects of economy,ecological environment and society is expounded quantitatively according to the statistical results.In the benefit calculation method.(4)Existing community examples are deduced,and the productive environment and potential of a representative community in Tianjin are calculated and evaluated by using the method in the evaluation framework,which verifies the feasibility of the evaluation framework.This research can summarize the entry point,implementation process and basic operation framework of the new community spatial planning means,make this new means mature and integrate into urban planning and community management.With the popularization and application of related software and hardware in the future,it can further assist urban planners and managers to fully understand the potential of urban agricultural development and bring communities into play.Agriculture is scientifically and rationally integrated into the framework of urban sustainable development,so as to make the planning,design and implementation of urban agriculture more comprehensive and efficient.
