In the vigorous development of the power industry, the research of cold-end systems is very important.Air cooling systems or wet cooling systems are commonly used at home and abroad for cooling circulating water. With the development of domestic and foreign scholars’ research and engineering projects,a dry and wet combined cooling system combining the advantages of both has been designed, which can not only achieve the goal of saving water and energy, but also improve heat exchange efficiency, which will become future development Mainstream.Based on the research of Kroger, this paper first discusses the comparison between the kroger model and the traditional density difference model based on the natural ventilation cooling tower pumping calculation method, verifies the correctness of the kroger model, and establishes air-cooled and wet-cooled on this basis A one-dimensional theoretical calculation model;and a dry-wet combined cooling system test bench was built.Through multiple experiments, the experimental data was obtained by sorting and analyzing the experimental data based on the conservation of heat exchange energy and corresponding calculation formulas such as the logarithmic temperature difference method and the enthalpy difference method. The heat transfer coefficient and resistance coefficient of the simplified version of the dry-cooling section heat exchanger and the characteristic number and resistance coefficient of the cooling medium in the wet section.Based on the experiment, the obtained heat transfer coefficient and resistance coefficient are applied to the one-dimensional theoretical calculation model of the combined wet and dry cooling system for simulation research and analysis. The model has two design schemes:operation in circulating water side series mode and operation in circulating water side parallel mode. The influence of environmental factors, that is,ambient temperature and ambient humidity,on the two types of combined wet and dry cooling systems is discussed.Simulation analysis shows that when the ambient temperature is too high and the ambient humidity is relatively large, the cooling efficiency of the combined wet and dry cooling system will be reduced.
