expansion.It is a typical extensive industrial development and has caused serious environmental pollution problems.From the perspective of long-term development,my country’s industrial investment has a common phenomenon of one-sided pursuit of investment scale.In the past,the economic development model that relied on expanding industrial investment scale to promote the process of industrialization was often accompanied by excessive investment,overcapacity,and inefficient investment.The emergence of problems such as irrational investment structure,etc.,has also brought about a large number of unnecessary environmental negative externalities.In 2013,the General Assembly of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization adopted the "Lima Statement" as a programmatic document.The statement stated that the development of inclusive and sustainable industrialization is a priority development goal.In 2015,all member states of the United Nations unanimously adopted the "2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development" and identified sustainable industrialization as one of the 17 sustainable development goals.At the same time,as the international community pays great attention to my country’s environmental issues and my country’s industrialization has entered a stage of high-quality development,the country has formulated a series of environmental regulations and policies to try to change the environmental pollution problems caused by early industrial development,but the effect is seen from the actual situation.Bad.Based on the above backgrounds,in the process of studying the development of sustainable industrialization,the first task must be to find out the main contradictions at the emergence stage and conduct a specific analysis.Industrial investment is an important way to promote the development of industrialization.In the past,my country’s rapid economic development Important responsibilities were assumed in the process.Therefore,the study of sustainable industrialization is of great significance to the realization of my country’s industrial high-quality development goals,and the study of the influence mechanism of industrial investment and environmental regulation on sustainable industrialization is of practical significance to the realization of sustainable industrialization.In terms of theory,based on the existing research,this article combines investment theory,environmental Kuznets inverted U curve and Porter hypothesis to construct a theoretical model of the relationship between industrial investment and environmental regulations on sustainable industrialization,and explores the three And propose hypotheses.In terms of empirical research,this paper uses the panel data of 30 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions(except Tibet)in China from 2008 to 2017 to establish a sustainable industrialization indicator system to measure the level of sustainable new industrialization in China,conduct a regional comparison and analysis,and establish an empirical measurement model The verification of the theoretical model mainly includes two levels:First,the use of the Sys-GMM dynamic panel model to establish the relationship between industrial investment and environmental regulations and sustainable industrialization confirms that China’s current stage of expanding industrial investment Restrain the development of sustainable industrialization.Second,use Hansen(1999)The proposed threshold panel model establishes a classification index function with environmental regulation as the threshold variable,examines its threshold effect,and discusses the influence mechanism of industrial investment on sustainable industrialization between regions when the threshold effect exists.Based on the results of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,this article draws the following conclusions and recommendations:(1)Sustainable industrialization is a virtuous cycle of development process with a certain degree of lag.Persisting in the development of sustainable industrialization is one of the effective ways to achieve my country’s rapid economic development.The eastern region can better promote sustainable industrialization based on a sound sustainable industrialization foundation,while the relatively backward areas in the central and western regions still need to accelerate the development of sustainable industrialization.Infrastructure for sustainable industrialization.Therefore,it is necessary to accelerate the infrastructure construction of sustainable industrialization in the central and western regions.(2)At this stage,it is difficult to increase industrial investment to promote sustainable industrialization.This is mainly due to the rough development period of industrialization.The characteristics of my country’s industrial development are at the expense of the environment and lack of innovation motivation and lack of sustainability.Therefore,unaltered increase in industrial investment on the basis of the original industrialization development path is not conducive to sustainable industrial development.This article proposes to stop the blind environmental regulation can improve industrial investment and promote sustainable industrialization.Under the conditions of low-level environmental regulations,the increase in costs brought about by industrialization,the promotion effect is limited.Under the conditions of high-level environmental regulation,the structure of industrial investment has shifted towards technological innovation,which
