In order to relieve the pressure caused by the surge of flight flow,airport capacity expansion has become a key problem to be solved by all hub airports.Because of the lack of land resources,further narrowing and optimizing the wake interval has become one of the best solutions to the expansion of airport capacity.In view of the operation of closely spaced parallel runways,due to domestic safety considerations,the wake interval standard of single runway operation is still adopted temporarily,which does not arouse the capacity expansion advantage of short parallel runways.The paired approach mode was proposed by American scholars,which is similar to the simultaneous instrument approach mode applied to the actual operation of a closely spaced parallel runway.This mode greatly reduces the wake interval by avoiding the influence of the wake of the front aircraft.In the paired approach mode,in order to avoid the influence of the wake of the lead aircraft,the tail aircraft needs to maneuver and fly in a certain safety zone,which is called the safety zone of the paired approach mode.In this paper,CFD method is used to numerically simulate the wake flow field of the lead and tail aircraft,and the wake safety interval of the lead and tail aircraft is obtained.Furthermore,the safety zone of the paired approach mode is analyzed and discussed.The specific content is as follows:Firstly,this paper introduces the basic concept,basic requirements,operation flow of paired approach mode,and the research status of safety zone of paired approach mode at home and abroad.The research methods of aircraft wake motion characteristics are summarized,and the CFD method is finally adopted to analyze the wake flow field of the aircraft before pairing.Then,the CFD-based numerical simulation method of the wake flow field of the paired front machine is introduced,and the model of the wake flow field of the paired front machine is constructed.The numerical simulation preparation for the characteristics of the wake flow field of the paired front machine based on the CFD method is completed through the computational pretreatment of the model.Finally,combination of the process of paired approach model is established based on the CFD calculation model matching approach drafting safety interval,and in the case of Shanghai Hongqiao airport,several typical models of combination mode paired approach under the wake of the safety interval was calculated,under the condition of different combination model of Shanghai Hongqiao airport,matching approach model wake interval,finally safe area to paired approach model put forward some proposals to control department and crew.
