Karst water is an important source of groundwater supply in northern China.With the development of social economy,the quality of karst water in northern China is deteriorating day by day.The zoning of groundwater pollution prevention and control is an important part of groundwater pollution prevention and control.Based on the analysis of the hydrogeological conditions of Baotu Spring region in Jinan,the present situation of karst water quality and potential pollution sources in the study area were identified through the investigation of groundwater pollution and remote sensing interpretation.The comprehensive quality evaluation of karst water quality is carried out,and the types,locations and characteristic pollutants of the main potential pollution sources in the study area are identified.Based on the European model,the evaluation factors were selected,and the evaluation factors were improved according to the characteristics of non-falling-hole development and inhomogenous rainfall in the study area.The antifouling ability of karst aquifer in the study area was evaluated by the improved antifouling ability evaluation method.On the basis of the evaluation results of antifouling properties of karst aquifers,superimpose the hazards of various potential pollution sources on the surface to evaluate the pollution risk of karst groundwater.Considering the current status of karst water pollution and pollution risks,the water richness of karst aquifers,and the distribution of water source protection areas,the karst water in the study area is divided into pollution prevention and control areas.The research results of this paper can be used as an important support for local karst water pollution prevention.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The potential pollution sources in the study area are mainly five types:industry,agriculture,surface drainage river,landfill,the gas station.The quality of karst groundwater in the study area is mainly Class III water.In the lower reaches of Wohushan Reservoir in the middle section of the Yufu River,the karst water quality exceeded the standard indicators of nitrate and total hardness;Trichloromethane was detected in Wangsheren Town,the eastern suburb of Jinan City.(2)Improved evaluation method of karst aquifer fouling resistance can accurately reflect the natural fouling resistance of karst aquifer in the study area.Most areas of the study area have high antifouling properties in karst aquifers,accounting for 66% of the area.Areas with low antifouling properties are mainly located in the area of Longdong Street,Lixia District,south of Changqing City,areas near Lashan,and Wenzhuang Village-Cuimazhuang Village,Baitugang Village,the north of Wangfuzhuang Village;The antifouling performance of the karst aquifers in the remaining areas is above the medium level.(3)The karst groundwater pollution risk is the result of the comprehensive superposition of the potential hazards of pollution sources and the antipollution property of karst aquifer.The overall karst groundwater pollution risk in the study area is at a low level.The Xiaoqing River drainage reach,the urban landfill site,the southern mining plant and the industrial areas in the study area have high pollution risk due to the high potential hazards of pollution sources.The potential hazards of pollution sources in the area of Wuxi Village and Shimiao Village,south of Changqing urban area and the eastern boundary of the study area,are relatively low,but the pollution risks in these areas are high due to the low pollution resistance of karst aquifer.(4)The karst groundwater pollution prevention and control area in the study area is divided into 6 areas.The karst groundwater protection area is within the outer boundary of the 14 secondary protection areas of karst water sources;The priority areas for governance are the areas of Zhangxia Town-Wande Town,Zhonggong Town,Xiying Town,and Cemazhuang Village;The general governance area is the southern part of Wangsheren Town;The priority prevention and control areas are mainly distributed in the direct recharge area of karst groundwater north of the Wohushan Reservoir-Jinxiuchuan Reservoir;The key prevention and control areas are mainly distributed in the mountainous areas in the southern part of the study area;The general prevention and control areas are mainly distributed in the northern plains of the study area,the terraces of the Beidasha River and the Yufu River.
