Study On Yanbian Korean Palace Rice Cake

The Korean Chinese food culture is well-known through out the country for its strong ethnic characteristics.Among the many delicacies,rice cake is an indispensable "pillar" in the food of the Korean Chinese people’s festivals and celebrations,and is the most representative characteristic food of the Korean Chinese food culture.Li Xiangdan,the developer of the palace rice cake,is a leading inheritor of the Korean Chinese rice cake culture.On the basis of inheriting and developing the making techniques and techniques of the traditional Korean Chinese rice cake,the palace rice cake had new innovations and developments in appearance,variety,taste and making techniques.The most representative is the palace rice cake series.As an important symbol of the Korean Chinese traditional food culture,the palace rice cake exudes the aroma of the Korean era.Li Xiangdan Rice Cake Research Institute,with the spirit of craftsman’s sincerity,based on the traditional production technology,combined with the needs of The Times,has developed rice cake products with various styles and rich taste,which meet the needs of different occasions and explore a new way for the inheritance of the traditional Korean Chinese diet culture in the modern context.Taking the imperial rice cake as an example,this paper,through field observation and research,investigates the origin,production technology,cultural connotation and social function of the Korean Chinese rice cake.The content of this article is divided into three parts:The first part combs the origin and development of Korean Chinese rice cake.With the influx of Korean immigrants and the development of paddy fields,Korean rice cakes spread throughout Northeast China.The second part describes in detail the making techniques of the Korean Chinese court rice cake.With the improvement of living standard,the traditional handmade process has been continuously optimized,showing the characteristics from skill to art.The third part investigates the cultural connotation and social function of the Korean palace rice cake.The Korean Chinese court rice cake not only reflects the Korean Chinese diet concept of returning to nature,but also reflects the Korean Chinese aesthetic orientation of being elegant and free from vulgar with its delicate,elegant and clean design style.Korean Chinese rice cake is not only food,but also has the function of praying,identification and communication.
