Radiation environment is an important part of ecological environment,and the nuclear and radiation environmental safety is an important part of national environmental security.With the development of social economy,the application of nuclear technology is becoming more and more extensive and in-depth.The research on nuclear technology utilization projects is helpful to understand the radiation environment in Xinjiang.Based on the air absorbed dose rate in Xinjiang,this study analyzes the background of environmental radiation,uses relevant technical means,focuses on monitoring and researching of the nuclear technology utilization projects,and the results are analyzed and evaluated.Based on this,analyzes the monitoring results and the change trend of air absorbed dose rate at six radiation environmental automatic monitoring stations in Urumqi,Ili,Kashgar,Karamay and Hami from 2013 to 2019,understands the change trend,and compares with the data of air absorbed dose rate of other provinces in China from2017 to 2019.The radiation dose levels of 526 sealed radioactive sources in the surrounding environment,at the workplaces and around the transport vehicles of 54 nuclear technology enterprises in Urumqi,Changji,Karamay,Ili and Hami were monitored.The radiation dose levels of 123 radiation devices in workplaces and surrounding environment of 77 X-ray device users in Urumqi,Karamay and Changji were monitored.The results show that,(1)The annual mean value of air absorbed dose rate during 2013 to 2019 in Xinjiang ranges from 74.9n Gy/h to 118.6 n Gy/h,compared with other provinces in China,it is at normal level.(2)The radiation dose rate of devices containing sealed radioactive source is 0.05-9.01 μSv/h at 5cm and not detected to 4.25 μSv/h at 1m away from the surface of source container;the sealed radioactive source for well logging,the radiation dose rate is 0.25-49.6 μSv/h at 5cm and 0.46-3.5 μSv/h at 1m away from the surface of gamma source tank,and 35.1-538 μSv/h at 5cm and 5.45-41.1 μSv/h at 1m away from the surface of neutron source tank,the external radiation dose rate of logging source vehicle is 0.1-105.5μSv/h,the radiation dose rate of driver position is 0.09-0.15 μSv/h;the outdoor radiation dose rate of gamma flaw detection is 118-141 n Sv/h,the field gamma flaw detection operation conform to relative national standards.(3)The external radiation dose of medical X-ray device workplace is 0.08-2.5 μSv/h,the radiation dose of mobile equipment surrounding environment is 0.09-2.65 μSv/h;the mobile X-ray flaw detection field conforms to the corresponding national standards.Generally speaking,the radiation dose level in the surrounding environment of Xinjiang nuclear technology utilization project basically meets the requirements of the corresponding national standards,the use process is safe and controllable,and the radiation activities carried out in human production and life do not cause significant impacts on the environment.
