Synthetic materials are not only regarded as chemical products,but also as important support and basic raw materials for various chemical products.Together with steel,wood,and cement,they form the four basic materials of today’s modern industrial society in the world.After decades of development,China’s synthetic materials industry has continued to grow and develop,and has made significant improvements and advancements in its system construction,production scale and technical level,and has made great contributions to the national economy.However,the COVID-19 in early 2020 caused the country to adopt a shutdown policy due to the situation,which brought an unavoidable impact on my country’s chemical synthetic materials industry,and even caused the company’s capital chain to break and face the risk of bankruptcy.How to survive the plight,improve the economic competitiveness and sustainable growth capacity of the synthetic materials industry,and improve the company’s ability to withstand risks has become the top priority.This article selects Kingfa Technology Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Kingfa Technology)as a typical case to conduct a special study,aiming to discover its own market competitive advantage and profitability through comprehensive data analysis and in-depth understanding of the financial performance of Kingfa Technology before and after the COVID-19.Disadvantages,targeted analysis,and useful decision-making information can provide references for operators of other listed companies and help adjust the company’s future development strategy and achieve long-term development.This article mainly studies the development process of financial performance evaluation of domestic and foreign enterprises,combined with the classic financial performance evaluation theories and methods in the past,to summarize and comment on it.On the basis of fully borrowing the existing methods and industry characteristics,the factor analysis method is selected to conduct an in-depth analysis of the financial performance of Kingfa Technology.First,54 listed companies on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets are selected as the research samples,mainly focusing on four levels of financial indicators to construct a suitable financial performance evaluation index system;then,selecting the financial data of the eleven quarters from 2018 to 2020,and Through the use of factor analysis technology to evaluate its horizontal financial performance,and obtain its scores and comprehensive ranking results for analysis;then,using the new crown epidemic as the node,relying on the main financial indicators of Kingfa Technology,combining its scores and The ranking conducted in-depth analysis to study the changes in the financial performance indicators of Kingfa Technology before and after the COVID-19,as well as the changes in the ranking of Kingfa Technology in the industry before and after the new crown epidemic,and conduct a comprehensive evaluation.Finally,according to the results of the research,some problems with Kingfa Technology have been identified,and corresponding suggestions have been made to everyone.Through the research on the financial performance of Kingfa Technology,it was found that Kingfa Technology has successfully improved its own operating model under the influence of the COVID-19,and got out of the predicament by improving the company’s production structure(such as the production of masks,etc.).By comparing the operation models of the entire industry,we can extract the desirable aspects of Kingfa Technology,seize opportunities in uncertain environments,and find new industry directions in adversity,so as to provide references for industry operations and management,and have certain theories.And practical significance.
