The Behavior Of Farmers’ Straw Resource Utilization And Its Influencing Factors

As a traditional energy source,straw has the characteristics of large yield and wide distribution.It is a valuable resource for the development of industry and agriculture in China.Making full use of straw resources can not only alleviate the shortage of resources in today’s world but also reduce the environmental problems of air pollution.However,the unreasonable use of straw,such as open burning and dumping,not only causes a serious waste of resources,but also pollutes the global environment.The damage to water,air,soil and human health is irreversible.In order to guide farmers to make rational use of straw,the state,on the one hand,formulated relevant no-burning policies to strengthen the supervision of straw burning,on the other hand,vigorously promote the resource utilization of straw.Therefore,it is of great significance to guide farmers to turn from traditional straw burning to resource utilization and prevent the occurrence of straw burning and waste.This article through to the existing straw utilization of literature review,based on the theory of planned behavior(TPB)and the theory of circular economy(TCE),selecting rice planting in liaoning province key region that is part of panjin rice planting area as the research area,rice farmers as the research object,through field investigation face-to-face interviews with the method of inspection,the effective questionnaire 234,effective rate was 91.41%.The research in this paper focuses on the behavior of farmers’ straw resource utilization.Through the establishment of a binary Probit regression model,the influential factors of farmers’ straw resource utilization behavior are empirically analyzed.The empirical results show that the individual peasant household characteristics,family characteristics,market factors,government regulation and subjective perception five aspects are the main factors influencing the peasant household behavior on straw resource utilization,the specific circumstances of each affecting factor: age of farmers straw resource utilization behavior produce negative influence,its coefficient is 0.896,under the 1% level of statistical significant;The cooperative situation had a positive influence on farmers’ straw resource utilization behavior,with a coefficient of 3.653,which was significant at the statistical level of 5%.Acquisition points have a positive influence on the resource utilization behavior of farmers’ straw,with a coefficient of 0.877,which is significant at the statistical level of 5%.The purchase price had a positive effect on the resource utilization behavior of farmers’ straw,with a coefficient of 0.907,which was significant at the statistical level of 10%.The publicity and training had a positive impact on farmers’ straw resource utilization behavior,with a coefficient of 1.684,which was significant at the 1% statistical level.Subjective norms,behavior attitude and perceived behavior control had a positive impact on farmers’ straw resource utilization behavior,and their coefficients were 0.951,0.424 and 0.602,respectively,which were significant at the statistical level of 1%,10% and 5%.According to the research conclusions,this paper puts forward the corresponding policy Suggestions: First,strengthen the comprehensive quality training for farmers,to guide the straw related technology;Second,expand the subsidy for straw resource utilization,and give strong support to farmers and straw-related enterprises;Third,innovate the pattern of straw resource utilization and strengthen the promotion of various ways of straw resource utilization.Fourth,improve the supervision of straw burning behavior,develop a perfect straw burning policy.
