Rutting is one of the typical deformation distress of asphalt pavement.On rainy days,the accumulation of water on the rut road not only lengthens the braking distance of the driving,but also causes a large lateral deviation in a short time,which aggravates the driving risk.In order to effectively control the safety of water-filled rutting during the management and maintenance process,and reduce the risk of accidents when vehicles pass through rut roads on rainy days,it is necessary to fully understand the impact of the three-dimensional(3D)shape of the rut on the water distribution of the road area.In the current solution,on the one hand,in the rut detection evaluation,only the maximum depth is used to describe the severity of the rut,and the 3D shape of the rut cannot be obtained,and thus the impact of its change on the water distribution of the road area cannot be described;on the other hand,It is difficult to truly reflect the influence of the 3D shape of the rut on driving safety in the simulation using the adhesion coefficient model constructed with a single water film thickness.Therefore,it is necessary to comprehensively describe the 3D shape of the rut and establish a driving safety evaluation model for the water-filled rut.This is of great significance for studying the influence of the 3D shape of the rut on the water distribution of the road area and for the prevention and control measures of the risk of water-filled rut.On the basis of rut detection,this paper realizes the 3D reconstruction of the full-lane surface of the rut section.Based on the 3D shape of rutting,road water distribution recognition and driving safety impact analysis were carried out.A simulation model of stagnant water rutting-driving safety was established,and then the driving safety of rutting water was evaluated.The connection between the 3D rutting detection and the safety evaluation of water-filled rut is established.The research ideas and methods and main results of this article are as follows:1)By using the 3D laser detection technology,the 3D laser point cloud information of the full-lane road is collected,and the 3D reconstruction of the whole lane road is carried out;the rut is identified according to the existing specifications and research findings,and the rut 3D model is accurately extracted from the 3D pavement model.Based on the rut 3D model,some rut multi-dimensional indicators are proposed to comprehensively and accurately describe the rut 3D morphology.2)According to the results of the indoor water film thickness test,the water film thickness prediction model that is best suited to the research in this paper is selected to predict the water film thickness distribution of non-water-filled rut pavement;Based on the characteristics of pavement water collecting behavior and the 3D shape of rutting,the calculation process of water-filled rut is proposed to calculate the thickness distribution of water film in water-filled rut pavement;finite element analysis are conducted to establish the prediction model of the road surface adhesion coefficient.3)Using Car Sim dynamics software,input the road surface adhesion coefficient model to establish a water-filled rut-driving safety simulation model.Based on the simulation analysis,the evaluation indexes that reflect the influence of the three-dimensional shape of the ruts on the driving safety properties of water-filled ruts are selected.4)Multi-dimensional indexes of rutting are selected to establish simulated procedures,and the water film thickness and adhesion coefficient distribution under different procedures are calculated.simulation analysis by using the model are carried out,based on braking and lateral deviation,driving safety evaluation models of water-filled rut are established,so as to establish the connection between the 3D rut detection and the driving safety evaluation of it.5)Using the driving safety evaluation models to conduct analysis on the actual road sections with water-filled rut,it is found that: For a road section with specific rut,the critical safety speed of the section under different rainfall conditions can be obtained according to the 3D indicators of the rut.This paper establishes a comprehensive evaluation system for the driving safety of water-filled rut,which directly links rut detection with driving safety.The research results can be directly applied to the safety control of the existing rut in rainy days,which is of great significance for promoting the network-level road safety monitoring in China and the scientific management of maintenance.
