Compared with TNT based melt-cast explosive,DNAN based melt-cast explosive has an advantage in sensitivity, production and lethality, which makes it has abroad prospect of research. In order to study the mechanical properties of DNAN.In this paper, the static and dynamic mechanical properties of DNAN-based melt-cast explosives(RBHL-1)were tested by using MTS machine and SHPB respectively. And the Johnson-Cook constitutive model was applied to the study of the drug. The specific research work is as follows:(1)The MTS was used to test the compressive strength of RBHL-1 explosive at normal temperature. The load-displacement curve and stress-strain curve of the specimen were obtained. The force state of the specimen was analyzed by the experimental data.(2)In this paper, the SHPB test device was adjusted by selecting a suitable rod,a shaper, etc.,to achieve the test objective of prolonging the loading time of the incident waveform and achieving a constant strain rate, which satisfies the test requirements for the RBHL-1brittle material. The stress and strain curves of RBHL-1 explosives at different strain rates, stress curves at different length and diameter ratios, and stress-time curves at different strain rates were obtained.Through the experimental data obtained, the stress states of the specimens with different aspect ratios were analyzed.(3)Combining the experimental data and model parameters of this paper, the finite element software LS-DYNA was used to numerically simulate the actual response of the column during loading. The force and deformation process of the powder column are discussed. The theoretical model prediction agrees well with the experimental results.
