With energy consumption and environmental pollution,we have to develop clean and pollution-free new energy as soon as possible.Among them,the fuel cell has caused extensive research due to its high efficiency and pollution-free advantages.In recent years,people have begun to scramble to study alkaline anion exchange fuel cell(AEMFC),mainly due to its faster oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)kinetics,the use of non-noble metals(such as nickel,silver and cobalt)as electrocatalysts,and the advantages of less fuel permeability.Among them,the anion exchange membrane(AEM)is the core component of AEMFC,which can transfer hydroxide ions and at the same time plays a decisive role in the life of the fuel cell.Although,in recent years,researchers have developed a variety of AEMs,but AEM still has a series of problems.Therefore,the preparation of AEM with good performance in all aspects is still the current research direction.In this paper,a series of poly(aryl ether ketone)polymers(PAEK-x)with different content of methylhydroquinone were prepared first,and then through bromination reaction and grafting,AEM containing 1-methylpiperidine(Pip)was prepared.The test found that PAEK-Pip-80 membrane has the highest ionic conductivity(47.65 m S cm-1)at 80℃,and the membrane exhibited better ionic conductivity.In addition,the series of membranes had better mechanical properties and dimensional stability,but the membranes had poor alkaline stability.When the membranes were soaked in 1 mol/L Na OH at 60℃for 30 days,PAEK-Pip-20 and PAEK-Pip-40 membranes remained intact,but PAEK-Pip-60 and PAEK-Pip-80 membranes were no longer intact after being soaked for 5 days.In order to enhance the stability of the membrane under alkaline conditions,we introduced the 4,4-(dimethylamino)butyraldehyde diethyl acetal(DABDA)group to the brominated polyaryl ether ketone,which has a long containing ether branched chain,the branched chain will hinder the attack of hydroxide ions on the quaternary ammonium salt,thereby improving its alkaline stability.The experimental results showed that when the membranes were soaked in 1 mol/L Na OH at 60℃for 30 days,all membranes remained intact.At this time,the ion conductivity of PAEK-DABDA-80 membrane was 21 m S cm-1,and its alkaline stability was improved. |
