Synthetic Studies To Conosilane A

A preliminary exploration towards synthesis of conosilane A was mainly carried out in this thesis,and it consists of the following two chapters.Chapter 1: Research progress on the synthesis of THF/THP-fused bicyclicγ-lactone by chemists at home and abroad was introduced,especially highlighting the total synthesis of natural products with such a bicyclic γ-lactone motif by their methods.The isolation,biosynthesis,and synthetic progress of conosilane A by two research groups were firstly introduced in the Chapter 2.The nickel-catalyzed tandem cyclization developed by our group was also utilized for a construction of tricyclic skeleton embedded in this molecule.Due to the poor stability of cyclization precursors,it was difficult to apply them in practice.Although several cyclization precursor compounds and nickel-catalyzed conditions were tried,unfortunately,the target product was still not obtained.
