According to the "National Ecological Protection and Construction Plan(2013-2020)" report issued by National Development and Reform Commission,in China, the current ecological environment mainly includes soil erosion, land degradation, wetland shrinking, reduction of biodiversity, and various meteorological conditions under the background of global warming.Problems such as the increase in disasters have seriously affected the stability of the ecosystem and restricted the sustainable development of my country’s social economy.Jiangxi Province is located in the red soil hilly area in the south and is one of the provinces with the most serious soil erosion in China. In the process of human use and transformation of natural resources, unreasonable human activities will aggravate the occurrence and development of regional soil erosion, and then affect the stability of the regional ecosystem. Therefore, carrying out research on ecological vulnerability in Jiangxi Province, revealing its spatial distribution characteristics, and providing a scientific reference for regional ecological environmental protection, has important practical significance for sustainable social and economic development.Based on remote sensing images, land use and other data, based on sub-watersheds and grid evaluation units, this paper uses the Ecological Sensitivity-Resilience-Pressure(SRP)model to construct the 2019 Jiangxi Province Ecological Vulnerability Evaluation Index System,Quantitative analysis of the spatial distribution characteristics of ecological vulnerability in Jiangxi Province,on this basis, the use of geographic detectors to carry out the driving force analysis of ecological vulnerability. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The overall ecological vulnerability of Jiangxi Province is low on all sides and high in the middle.Areas with medium and high values of ecological vulnerability index are mainly distributed in plains and along the rivers, such as the Ganfu Plain and Xinjiang River, with sporadic distribution. In mountainous regions;low-value areas are mainly distributed in mountainous areas in the northeast, south and northwest of Jiangxi Province. The ecological vulnerability of the whole province is mainly slightly fragile, with an area of 110981.18 km~2,accounting for 66.44% of the total area of the province;the slightly fragile area is 51496.12km~2,accounting for 30.82% of the total area of the province;moderately fragile The area of the district is 4335.31km~2,accounting for 2.59%of the total area of the province;the severely vulnerable area is 232.54km~2,accounting for 0.14% of the province’s total area;the extremely vulnerable area is 18.85km~2,accounting for 0.01% of the province’s total area.(2)From the perspective of the ecological vulnerability of each city-level administrative region: Nanchang City is mainly slightly vulnerable,Yingtan City is mainly slightly vulnerable and slightly vulnerable, and the remaining prefecture-level cities are mainly slightly vulnerable. From the perspective of county-level administrative districts: Zhushan District,Qingyunpu District,Xihu District,Qingshan Lake District and Xunyang District are mainly moderately vulnerable;Nanchang County and Zhangshu City are mainly mildly vulnerable;other counties(cities, districts)Mainly slightly fragile.(3)The analysis of the topographical distribution characteristics of ecological vulnerability shows that: slightly vulnerable areas are distributed in all slope zones and altitudes;light and moderately vulnerable areas are mainly distributed in <5° slope zones and areas with altitudes <100m;severely vulnerable Areas are mainly distributed in the slope zone of 8°-25° and areas below 300 m above sea level;the extremely vulnerable areas are mainly distributed in the slope zone of 15°-35° and areas at altitudes of 100-300 m.In areas with an altitude of ≥800m,there is no extremely vulnerable area;In areas with an altitude of ≥100m,the area of each vulnerability level shows a decreasing trend with the increase in altitude.(4)The analysis of the ecological vulnerability of different land use methods shows that the extremely vulnerable areas are mainly distributed in construction land, mining land, rural roads and bare land,of which mining land is the most widely distributed;construction land is mainly lightly vulnerable and moderately vulnerable;Forest land is mainly slightly fragile, accounting for 89.14% of the forest area;cultivated land, garden land, grassland, transportation land, water area, sand and bare rock and gravel land are mainly slightly fragile.(5)From the perspective of cold and hot spots: hot spots are mainly distributed in the riverside areas of the Poyang Lake Plain,Jitai Basin and Xinjiang River Basin, and scattered in the Ganzhou Basin and Gongshui Basin in the upper reaches of the Ganjiang River;cold spot agglomeration areas are mainly distributed in The forest area with concentrated vegetation distribution and high coverage in the study area.(6)There are many driving factors for ecological vulnerability in Jiangxi Province, and no single driving factor can independently explain the spatial distribution pattern of ecological vulnerability in Jiangxi Province.Compared with human social factors, natural environmental factors play a dominant role in driving the spatial distribution pattern of ecological vulnerability, among which factors such as vegetation coverage, habitat quality and water conservation have a strong driving role;while human disturbance and land use Factors such as type and population density also have a certain degree of driving effect from the level of ecological sensitivity and ecological pressure.
