With the acceleration of social and economic development,the scale of petrochemical industry was becoming larger and larger,showing the characteristics of large-scale,complex and centralized.Petrochemical industry had the characteristics of high temperature,high pressure,inflammable and explosive.Once an accident occurs,it will cause serious consequences.Traditional Hazard and Operability Analysis(HAZOP)can effectively identify system design defects,operational procedures defects and other security risks,and had been widely used in the petrochemical industry risk analysis.However,the traditional HAZOP analysis was a highly qualitative analysis method,with a certain degree of shortcomings,in the analysis of deviations with fuzziness,had become increasingly unable to meet the safety production needs of enterprises.Therefore,a new method combining traditional HAZOP analysis with HYSYS process simulation was proposed in this paper.By means of HYSYS steady-state simulation and HYSYS dynamic simulation,the deviations in HAZOP analysis were quantified to study the different changes of system parameters under different deviations and the automatic adjustment ability of the system after adding controllers.After quantifying the different consequences caused by different deviations,we used risk matrix to classify risks.At present,the application of HAZOP analysis combined with HYSYS process simulation was limited.In this paper,a new method of quantitative analysis of HAZOP deviation was applied to the process of preparing propylene glycol by hydration of propylene oxide.The traditional HAZOP analysis method was used to analyze the process of propylene oxide hydration to propylene glycol.The water feeding pipeline and reactor were selected as the key nodes to get the HAZOP analysis report.The steady-state simulation of propylene oxide hydration to propylene glycol was carried out by using the process simulation software HYSYS.The deviation was quantified by combining the HAZOP analysis report.Simulation,study the different consequences of different deviations on the system,combined with the process simulation software HYSYS dynamic simulation function of propylene oxide hydration to produce propylene glycol process dynamic simulation,studied the dynamic law of the system operation under different deviations,got the system fluctuation time and operating limit value,was conducive to guiding the actual situation.Inter World production.Finally,this paper classified the consequences of accidents by risk matrix,which makes the system more intuitive,and the main risk factors and weaknesses of the system more obvious.Some suggestions were put forward to reduce the blindness of daily safety management.
